I really like the game aesthetic. Very fun when the dice roll is in your favor, your character basically zooming all over the places. On the other hand, when RNGezzus hate you, the game can feel extremely frustrating due to lack of jump high and speed. I have a feeling that the spike collision box is a bit big. I think it would be better to make the collision box a bit smaller to give player somewhat of control back from all of the RNG from the roll.
Also very funny with the "hot dice single" ads popup in the game. Couldn't stop grinning when I saw it :L
Overall, really enjoyed the game! Awesome job!
Really cool game! Really cool concept and smooth execution, I really like the 2d sprites in the 3d environment! Very cool!
Awesome job with this, I absolutely loved the visuals! The mix of the 2d pixel art with the 3rd perspective was really awesome. Also the player character art is phenomenal. It was really fun while I was bouncing around and kind of ricocheting a bit. But then it got super tough with the spikes because you had no idea what your next bounce would be like but to get over lengthy spike you have to commit to your forward momentum, so it felt like just praying at times. But I still really enjoyed playing this. Great job!
The visuals for the game were really good and the idea was interesting. Although it sucks that the game was quite laggy for me and the movement was buggy (there were times where I just fell off the world), though I weirdly liked the chaos that ensued in my gameplay haha. Anyways, good work!
the art for this submission is actually amazing
movement is a bit buggy, i often got stuck
the mechanic, while it was hard to control, is a nice concept and i think you could make something great if you paused every time the die rolls to let the player read what their results are and prepare for their next move
good job!
I liked the artstyle a lot! Struggled a bit with the rolls, I felt like I couldn't be able to progress at times. Felt a bit too chaotic. However, I like it! Good job! :3
The game's vibe and art style are so on-point! Really impressed that you were able to pull it off for the jam.
The dice rolls determining the jumps is an interesting idea, though I would have liked the player to have more control in some way (i.e., temporarily fixing one die roll, to set up for longer jumps).
Overall, I had fun! Nice job with this.
Nice presentation! The game feels too frustrating... Whenever you're getting a bit of decent luck, there you go take these bad rolls in a row and stand there waiting a good roll. Still, pretty fun and cute. Congrats for the submission!
It's very cute! Would be very interesting if I was able to roll the dice myself (maybe have a limited amount of re-rolls, or have extra dice as pick-ups in the level), because right now it feels, well, chaotic. Fun concept though, and very nice sprites!
The 2.5D works really nicely here (though I had some lag sadly), felt maybe a bit to random at times, but I had some fun just bouncing around and just watching the chaos :D
Nice game ! The graphics are very good... I find the controls a little too sensitive, and that a shame that we can't control the jump
This game lack of explaination in-game
I like this game's art style a lot, reminds me of paper mario :)
