How does your game fit the theme?
You have to find dices around the maze to get more dices to roll when you reach a gate. A gate adds up the total number of each roll and if it's high enough, the gate will open. Luck plays a big part in opening the gate, you may have to roll several times to get a gate to open.

First horror game I played this jam, and it was really eerie. I always feel like something will just pop out of the corner.
I did break the game by jumping on a specific spot (I guess Unity's physics is part to blame) but will not reveal where it is to avoid spoiling the game for others.
Incidentally, after getting out of the walls, this becomes a relaxing and calm atmospheric game :P
Congrats on completing the jam !
I believe you are the first who tried haha. I'll have to lower the jump value as a temp solution fix. I am currently working on a custom reusable package that'll be available for free to any indie dev from the asset store. Aim of it being to make it easier for newer dev to get something working and spark that game dev passion. This jam helped inspire that idea. I then plan to make a medium size horror game after, this was basically a test run on the atmosphere to see if I could get something working.
I like the idea of this game! The compass was surprisingly useful. The dice were quite hard to find though.
I liked the atmosphere and the idea of the game is one the developer should really explore more outside of the context of the contest! I couldn't figure out why there was a option for turning on and off the flashlight? Because I could turn it off it made me think there was going to be a battery drain feature.
I was going to add a monster that chases you around the map. This would mean you couldn't just sit at the gate and keep rolling till you opened it. That would bring the full theme of roll of the dice into play. However, I didn't have time at the end to setup the monster so I settled for quickly putting another level together. The flashlight would attract the monster to your location, so you had to only keep it on for a short time interval. That was the plan but it fell short due to deadline approaching.
I am planning on my next game to be a horror type game like this but not a maze, open world in a Forrest.

Nice graphics and atmosphere, that darkness with the sound of the wind gives me so much chill vibe
I like the concept of the game. I would like the dice to be easier to find though! Good job!
Nice game, with cool graphic and nice concept. Pretty fun to play :)
Congrats for the submission and thanks for your feedback too!
For some reason when i try to move the camera to the North it jitters and then moves the camera to the South. Can't play the game.
This is a really cool concept but I think you put the emphasis more on the exploration rather than the theme, it was just a side quest that wasn't really the main mechanic
But impressive graphics and cool atmosphere, well done!
Yeah, the idea was that there would be a monster (didn't have time to do) so you couldn't just stand at the gate and keep on rolling. You would have to run around and hope you got lucky with a roll to get through. I ran out of time so I couldn't get that last part done. Glad you liked the atmosphere though.
Fun game! I found some dice and was able to open the doors! I read what you said about adding a monster. That would've been terrifying haha.
