Simple and fun idea done really well! Really easy just to sit back and enjoy this one. Would be cool to have some way of telling the value you were rolling to, but even without I still had a good time!

Simple and fun, the concept just works, well done! My only issue is that you have to make a lot of effort to remember which number is going to pop next, and the simplest strategy is just to hang around the tiles where you know you can get a 5 or 6.

Also, very satisfying dices sounds ! :D

Really fun and imaginative strategic game; I can see this being an interesting board game as well.

As many people have mentioned, not being able to see what your number is going to be after you move was a big obstacle in acting strategically. I ended up getting a real d6 and turning it over on my table in unison so I would know! Maybe like a confirmation would be a simple way to implement this? I.e. after you move, you can either press space to confirm that move, or another button to undo. That way you don't have to deal with the issues of showing a 3D object in a 2D game, but still give the benefit of adding to the strategic element.

Anyway, great game; very fun!

Nice concept ! Simple but efficient, perfect for a 50h jam =).

My main complain is that you need to know each face of a dice to be able to strategise, otherwise it's just some randomly rolls and prayers^^'. I would have loved a little indicator to show which number I'll get before moving in a direction, or just being able to turn the camera to see by myself the other faces.

Otherwise, I loved the idea, the visuals are clean but efficient, animations are smooth and I can't believe how many levels there are oO ! Congratulations =)

Simple and neat game. It would've added a lot if there was an indicator that showed what face you would end up with by going in each direction.  The game has a lot of potential I think!

I used very similar mechanics in my game! But your aesthetics are so much sleeker, and the animations+sound effects are very satisfying.  Are the levels set or randomly generated? I played for a little bit but didn't get to the end, if there is one.

Developer

The levels are set, there are 16 in total. I would have loved to have them randomly generate but ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

I like the minimalistic look on this

Thanks!

Really simple and nice mechanic. I found it hard to keep track of what dice I was rolling to which kind of took some of the strategy out of it. A preview might have been handy, but definitely a difficult piece of UI to get feeling good.

The "moves remaining" is a really nice way to kite the enemy. Great work on breaking the concept of a stalemate here.

Honestly, the feedback is snappy and the game is quick and easy to pick up and learn. Great work overall!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I didn't add a way for the player to see what number they would roll to because I figured having to try and remember what numbers you had rolled from and what number you would roll too would add to the strategy, but I can see that giving the player that information may have proved to be the better option.

Really nice and clean presentation. It's a really nice and simple concept, but it can be a bit easy to cheese. With a better AI or more specific puzzle movement I could see it being highly addictive!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I do admit that I struggled to find the balance between the AI being impossible to beat and being way too easy but I hope you managed to enjoy anyway.
