Very cool game! Amazing amount of polish and content for a 48h game. Love the many different abilities.

The dice have square colliders which makes sense of course considering they are squares... but makes it impossible to make accurate off the wall billard-style shots which personally I would prefer.

I encoutered a bug where after a level no skill cards appeared and I had to reload.

Awesome game overall! One of the bast I played in the jam.

Developer

To generate random new abilites i use a "while" so it can cause many bugs. We are also thinking about a post jam version without the dice theme, it would be less random and more strategic (maybe you would be able to know how your caracter will bounce on walls). Thank you for the feedbacks!

I really love this game and wish there were more levels! Fantastic game for 48 hours!!! I can't wait for the post-game version!!! Maybe a mobile release too? Playing this on the go sounds fun!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! The game is already playable on mobile, but it's not really optimised and readable, we will definitely do a post jam version

Outstanding presentation, blown away that this was done in 48 hours.

As many others have said, it's a little punishing early on and took a few attempts (and a lot of luck) to clear the first room, a little balancing there would be great if you did want to spend more time with this time. That said, this is more polished than many mobile apps I come across, you should be super happy with it. Nice work.

Thank you very much, we will definitely try to do a full version and it's likely that we will throw out the dice and rng aspect of the game to make all the gale revolve around how you roll your character

Strikingly strong presentation and execution. I did find the mechanics a little too punishing, and I would've loved to see the ability to Fast forward moves because after I died twice I just did not have the patience to wait through the whole first level again. Which is a shame, because I really liked the power-ups and I could see myself having fun as the game went on. Anyway, good work man!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! One of the biggest flaws of the game is that we couldn't make random levels in time for the jam so the level are prebuilt and always in the same order, but in the future this will definitely be changed for a more rogue like style of levels generation

Wow, this games presentation is on another level, paired with really distinct gameplay loop of beating levels and gathering upgrades, this is really great!

Developer

Thank you! I did all the code and assets so it was a lot of work and i'm glad that you liked it!

Awesome game!
With the camera a little more zoomed in, it could become a nice mobile rough like.
It would be nice that the next level becomes unlocked when the room is cleared, instead of having to travel to the hole.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, there is definitely some improvements to be done but the game is already fully playable on mobile, thank you!

Really nice mechanics! I agree with the comments bellow for the enemy speed.

And a best balance will add more fun.

But nice work!!

Developer

Thank you! Do you have and idea about what could be balanced?

Submitted(+1)

Excellent presentation! I agree with the comments below; the speed of the enemy dice is a bit of a pace killer. I like the concept, but I did get quite a few unlucky rolls at the start of the game which ended most of my attempts before they really got started. That being said, I think with a bit of balancing it could be a really fun time!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! And yeah it's a dice game so if you are not very lucky it will be hard to win, but we did our best to be sure that even without luck the game could be fun

This looks super slick and I really enjoy how it plays. If there is one criticism, is I feel like the enemy turns should be a little faster, or have a "speed up" button

Developer

Thank you! About the enemy turn it was deliberately slow down a bit because it was hard to unsterstand what they were doing, but indeed it could be possible to add an option to speed up all of this!

I may have found a bug. When you die after room 3, and restart, then you beat room 1, the select new ability doesn't work. The cards don't show up.

Developer

Ohhh thank you very much, i was a bit in a rush when i exported the game and i forgot to reinitialize some variables upon death :/

Np really great game tho

Developer

Thanks!

I like the mechanic of the game however I wish there was a way to make the enemy turns go faster, also the lack of music made the game feel a little dry. I loved the upgrade mechanic though!

Developer

Thank you! About the music we tried different copyright free ones but none were really satisfiying with the vibe of the game :/

It took me a few tries to figure out the sling mechanic.  I wish I could sling the die further (or with more velocity).  The ability cards are fun to mess with.

Developer

The lack of tutorial is really bad, usually a bigger swipe is supposed to roll the die further

Super slick presentation, and the upgrades were really fun to experiment with.

Developer

I'm glad you had fun with the game! The upgrades are the most fun part of the gameplay and it's great that i could add them in time
