Love the vibe, from the music to the animation, it feels so good to play this game

Wow, very nice art and the gameplay is very fun! 😊

i suck at these kinda games, but its a nice art style and I gave it a good few attempts!

Developer(+1)

That's all I could ask for, thanks for trying! :)

Great art! The game is too difficult for me...

Submitted(+1)

Tough game! Very fun though. The thing it could use to take it to the next level is just juice and polish, perhaps expand upon the timed skills :D

Developer (1 edit)

Funny you say that about the juice, the boss was meant to flash and move a little when hit, but I forgot to set the boolean for it to true in the deployment build! Also realized after playing your game I should have some kind of effect for bullets that have died!
Thanks so much for the feedback! :D

I feel that kind of bug. Forgetting something that you had remembered the whole development just to not remember at the most critical time lol. I've definitely done that :D

Loved! The art is beautiful, the controls are on point and the game is tuff, but fair! Really great work!

Very cool game, nice art and nice music!

wow this rules

Really fun, but extremely hard! I could only get through about 75% of the boss after about a dozen attempts, but it's really fun and polished.

Great gameplay, artwork and music! Everything is picture perfect! Awesome work by dev , enjoyed this game very much . I believe you got the potential to expand this game as well with more variety of bosses and other skills! Cheers.

I like the bullet-hell gameplay!

Feels like undertale but in a loop, great! job!

It feels very smooth and it is good looking.

Developer

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback! :)

A very fun bullet hell with excellent execution. Loved the simple art style and palette, and the moves that the boss was doing felt very well telegraphed and fair (though still challenging to dodge at times!). The difficulty was on the harder side, but still very doable. I don't play many bullet hell style games, and I was able to beat this one in maybe 10 tries total. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I definitely should have toned it down for the jam but glad you managed to beat it! :)

This was really cool, and a great interpretation of the theme. Loved the rotation aspect, and the visuals are really clear and striking - especially the telegraphing of enemy attacks. The option to grab some powerups or maybe a loadout option for abilities would be a good addition if you're planning on iterating on this!

Very fun bullethell and i love the aesthetics

Really fun game! loved the art and the gameplay! defitly something to come back to!

I love the visuals and the music, they are so smooth! It's really tough and I never got to complete the game but that's on me, bullet hell games are known to be hard. Moving in a circle is definitely an interesting spin and I think it worked really well. I love that you focused on the boss fight part of the game, which is the most challenging section to create - I wish I were confident enough to do something like this someday!

This is such a cool concept and execution, I love it. The patterns get increasingly difficult and feels like a tough challenge. I think it fits the theme well and if this was the climactic boss fight of an indie game, the payoff would be amazing.
I think this kind of design would work amazing with a controller and an undertale-esque overworld

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! I was actually considering something like that. :)

woah that's tough. cool game and a great interesting concept, really fun! i ADORE the art and the music/sfx work great! overall great job :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks! I'm realizing I made it a little too difficult, a lesson learned, what I may find fairly doable as the dev does not necessarily match what the player experiences! :)

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

that's not necessarily a bad thing :) i think the patterns are interesting enough to make it challenging yet doable with practice. i think it's great as it is too!

A very interesting take on the concept! I like pixel art a lot. I struggled a bit with the controls when it came to going up and down around the circle. I found myself pressing the up and down arrows every once in a while. . I would also suggest adding the buttons for abilities in the game itself. I missed them on the first time I opened the game

Developer

Fair point on the buttons, I didn't consider adding them to the game till it was a bit too late! Thanks for playing!

4 days is not a lot of time. You dit great!

2nd phase felt unwinnable, but the first half had some fun moves to dodge and I like switching between attacks and finding when to use my shield. Art was nice and the music was suiting.
