The art is super cute! I love the concept as well.
A simple yet powerful formula, well executed. I enjoyed it.
really fun with a ton of content for such a small time frame! Great job!
Cool idea. I could see this doing well with joystick movement
Good fun game. I really liked the spinning for your next room stuff, where you can choose the composition of the wheel (Very clever).
The game is super clear and easy to figure out. If you update after the jam review period I would love to see more enemy rooms.
As for feedback, I think the horned enemies could use a bit more visual feedback when they take a hit.
Great work!
Cute and polished art style, and I really enjoyed the concept a lot! Maybe the wheel could use a bit of tweaking—like limiting each upgrade type to only two slots per spin, or making the pointer stop randomly instead of manually. But that doesn’t change the fact that this is an awesome game. Keep up the good work! :D
This was a lot of fun! The way of choosing your rooms is quite interesting, was a little confused at first so maybe it could be explained some more, but I got the hang of how it worked after. I liked how you introduced new enemies in the later stages. It is a little too easy I reckon, but that's good for game jams anyway. Art is fantastic as well! Awesome job :D
Good presentation, fun concept. Though it is very easy to never have to fight enemies after the first round - you can keep putting 3 enemy tiles and 1 tile you actually want on the wheel and passively gain money that way. It's really fun stacking damage and move speed upgrades though!
Nice concept, pretty polished, and well done on the mechanics. Would love to see more variety of powerups and enemies.
Cool concept, but seems complicated from the start, needs some getting used to
A-dore-able game. I love the art, trail, and overall vibe of the game! Music came out amazingly as well <3 I do wish I found an upgrade to go faster tho! Also the spikes were really hard for me for some reason :/ But love the concept and aesthetic soooo much <3
Awesome game as always.
The concept and execution is very well done.
Feels cute and polished.
I like that you are a bit more forgiving with the "trails length", than some of the other games I played. :D
This is such a cool concept, and the artwork is peak :D
Really great work, can't wait to see more :)
Very neat game, reminds me of old flash games. Good job!
Pretty cool idea, closing loops around enemies is a fun mechanic! I feel like the spin for the next room mechanic was a little too easy to abuse, by putting two of my desired rooms next to each other, I could always force where to go next. I feel like the base movement speed could be a little higher. Nice spritework. Adding the angel / demon framing was nice, would have been nice if the GUI also felt a little more like this divine battle.
Very good game, I like the use of the trail making a loop! The visual style is very cohesive and the gameplay has a good balance of risk/reward. The spinning wheel felt a little unrelated to the rest of the game loop. Overall, I think this is a very polished entry, good job!
Neat game! Looping around enemies was interesting, and I liked the risk-reward of trying to stay away from enemies but also trying to make sure you can complete your loop and keep them inside it. I think the wheel was a super cool way to do rewards after each room, however I easily broke it. By putting two of the treasure or special rooms on the spot the pointer is on and the next spot and the rest with enemy spots, you break even in coins. By spinning and immediately stopping the wheel you guarantee the special room 95% of the time. I was able to get all of the upgrades pretty quickly. While impressed with the variety, I found that they didn't really change the way I play, save for the ability one. The art was cute, the music was a bit too calm/happy in my opinion for fighting demons (?) but overall nice job!
Surrounding foes is a good idea, visuals are nice. But the impact off the wheel is weird, because my strategy was to only pick one reward at each round
Nice art style!
