Really nice game! Quite creative and enjoyable to play. Good work!

Nice game! Aesthetics, soundtrack and story worked together very well. Good work!

Cool game! Though i admit finding books was quite hard (thankfully there was a yellow highlight). I liked the tension through out the game. Good work!

Nice game! It's cool that you need to follow cues from senses to decide what to do.  A bit short, but i liked it! Good work!

Really good submission! Aesthetics especially, the shader and monster design were really great. Though I admit it was tiny bit confusing and also I think that some subtitles would be nice (pretty good voice acting as well). Is the game finished when message "The cycle must end" (or something along this lines, don't remember) shows up? Anyway good work!

Cute platformer game. Having backspace as shoot button was certainly a choice. I liked the artstyle. Good work!

Nice to see fellow dithering effect enjoyer! The visual style looks nice, but I didn't know for the most part what was killing me since neither gunslingers nor coyotes has sprites and were just rectangles. Also even though i beat the game, I never understood how duel mechanics works so some tutorial would be nice. But otherwise the game was good. Good work!

Very nice game. Reminds me of old flash games and I think idea for this game is quite creative. Good job!

Interesting game. Quite hard, but also looks visually really good. Good work!

Cool game, looks really nice and visually reminds me of Cult of the Lamb. If you continue working on it, I wonder how it will look. Good work!

That's a good game. I liked the visuals of all the materials, especially crystals. Gameplay was really fun too. Good work!

Well, these were certainly very strange worlds. Voice acting was also not expected, but welcome. Good work!

(1 edit)

Neat game. I had some difficulties at the beginning, though I still managed to beat it. Good work!

Short, but charming game! It was clever to hide demon beyond the level. Good work!

Cool space game. Love the visuals, really like the style. Good work!

Cute 2D platformer. The art was nice and bouncing sound made me chuckle a bit. Good job!

Cool game with really nice art. Liked the designs of the enemies. While not really my type of gameplay, I think it was quite creative and I still managed to beat the game. Good work!

Quite cool defender game, got all the upgrades. Some final boss would be nice (unless there is and I just didn't get to them). Liked some extra stuff like this spaceship that sometimes flies by. Good job!

Very fun puzzle platformer. Both mechanics and level-design feels really well done. I might have missed it, but was there any indication later in the game about infinite dash? Regardless good game. Good work!

Neat little game, I liked the fish models, they look very nice! Thinking about choosing three things, maybe in the future you will turn this game into fishing roguelike, would be interesting concept :D. Good work!

Oh, what a charming detective story! I liked the art a lot, each character had a lot of personality both visually and as a character. Kind of shame that ending is unavailable, but still that's a lot of work done in such a short time, impressive! Nice submission, good job!

Wow,  probably one of the best looking games in this jam, I love the mix of 3D with 2D billboard textures along with mild pixelation! I like the subtle foreshadowing by mushroom people (also I think that one mushroom guy on box should get pants or something, jeez). Very good submission. Good job! :D

Unexpected very good submission! I really like the mix of different visuals styles from realistic images to 3D assets. The gameplay felt very smooth and game adheres to gamejam theme very well. Good work!

Very cool game and quite original at that. It's also undeniably very polished. Good work!

I sure do love pixelated 3D games! The place was indeed very strange and mysterious though I wish there was something to interact with. Good work!

What a neat puzzle game! Just like the other commenter said, this game also reminds of ENA game and it was one of the best visually games that came out in last year.  Sadly the puzzles were a bit too hard too me, but stilI quite enjoyed the experience! Good work!

Very cool VN! Completely didn't expect that fakeout when quitting the game. The glitchy visual effects were nice and that you made extra small project (the one with the lights sequence) is also quite cool. Good work!

While there wasn't too much gameplay, I can't say anything bad about visuals, since the y were fantastic! This weird, shifting alien world really fits the theme. I also really like this shader that makes everything look like it shifts. The meshes with textures also make everything look very incomprehensible and otherworldly.  Good work!

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it :D

Good game, especially for someone starting their gamedev journey so young. If you continue on this path, I'm sure that by the time you grow up you will be excellent gamedev! Not sure what this blue organ was supposed to represent, but I'm afraid I got stuck at that level since corridors were kind of too tight too move through. I still think this submission is very solid! Good work!

Very nice game, like the artstyle a lot. I like the design of the world and that "unnecessary" things like cutting grass were added, it makes game feel more polished.  My nitpick would be that your trippy shader was a bit too strong. But otherwise very solid game. Good work!

Cool game. I like the use of limited palette, makes game look quite nice. Kind of sad that it was short, but i had fun. Good work!

A very neat platformer! I like the detail that you can control player in main menu screen. Good work!

Wow, that's a huge amount of high quality sprites made in such short time! Everything looks so pretty and I like character designs a lot! I enjoyed murdering all those cute candy people! The only thing I didn't like was the shorter dash of the second boss, felt a bit unfair and too punishing. Overall very charming game full of personality! Good work.

I... might have forgotten to comment out debug keys... Sorry for that! But I'm also very happy that you decided to finish the game regardless! I suppose that just putting fruit would be actually easier method to implement and less annoying for the player, I don't know why i decided to make it harder for myself and players, I guess it was just during game jams I'm more in a "do" mode rather  a "think" mode :D. For the feeders I also agree that it was a bit random though I didn't have an idea how to improve it, oh well. Still thank you very much for playing and kind words! :)

A really well polished submission! While a bit too bright, visuals look very good. The gameplay felt quite good though rover camera was kind of crazy at times, but i see you already addressed that. The core mechanics and premise of game are very creative and I have no extra remarks on them (as in positive). An overall very good submission. Good work!

Very atmospheric game! I like oppressive the darkness is and that you hear the enemies before you even see them. Due to maze-like levels itself, you never know from which corner the enemy will show up. My only nitpick is that while limited ammo can cause tension, I think that amount of ammo that player can find is a bit too little and even after landing every shot, I still was out of ammo and got myself killed without other options to fight back (though maybe it might be my fault for being blind and not being thorough in looking for it). Still very good submission! Good work.

Thanks for playing my game! Sadly I didn't quite finish in-game instructions/hints, but in the first level you need to throw those fruits into "mouths/beaks" of the tree in the middle. You need to throw 3 fruits to each one of the 3 mouths and they will close after they are full. To reach the upper ones you need the help of the yellow guys. After mouths are full, ingredients will sprout out of the ground! As for the second level you need to acquire holy jellyfish juice. Though the moment you approach one they disappear (they are illusory). The real ones can be found by looking at the flying carts when they fly by waterfalls. Within some of them you can see the real ones and you need to jump to get them. Now that i wrote those instructions out, they are completely ridiculous and I totally should have found time to include them in the game, but oh well.  Thanks again for playing!

Wow, that was a game with incredibly addictive gameplay. You nailed aesthetics as well. The one thing I would add is total turn counter and maybe just some kind of ending after some turn with option for continuing. And maybe some speed up/skip for animations since after a while it takes sometime. But regardless it's a fantastic game. Good work!

Very neat game. I think the whole game was well executed and I also liked the character designs. Good work!
