Hey guys, we just published a new devlog about our game's soundtrack! The awesome Gil Gregorio talks about his inspirations across history, the search for "pandemicpunk sounds and textures", how he first connected with the studio, and all the musical variations you'll find in the final version of the game:

DevLog: Songs for the Plaguelands

oh, I believe I saw it on some category feature here on Itch, but can't super remember exactly where :S sorry it's not that helpful hehe but again, lovely stuff :)

Hey everybody!

We're polishing Crow's Requiem "collection mini-games" in preparation for the full demo, which we plan to release in October, and would love your opinion on them. Difficulty, enjoyment, clarity, vibes on the variations, all feedback is super welcome as we make the game better with your help 💚 > playable prototype HERE

Here's an overview of the process:

thanks a lot!

💚🥳 oh, wow! thanks a lot for sharing!

💚🐙 thanks a lot!

💚🍻 thank you so very much!

A very enticing concept, realized in an elegant fashion. well done, you weirdos 💚

that's such a sweet and lovely comment, thanks a whole [friggin] lot for playing and dropping this day-uplifting note 💚🐙

💚🍻 thanks for playing, friend!

💚🐙thank you so much for playing and leaving this oh-so-sweet note, friend!

💚🐙 muitíssimo obrigado por jogar e pelas palavras! Vai Brasilsilsil

💚🐙🍻 thank you so much for playing and for the super kind words! even the gods are blushing :3

Great game with potential to be a fully fledged release.  Very well done!

The only problem I had was when enemies started comboing me 5-10 times in a row, which just pushed me fully outside the current stage I was in. It happened in both runs I got to the wyrm. So maybe a different algorithm for how being hit is handled would be nice, like having a second of invincibility frames.

Awesome game, surprisingly long and well thought out mechanics!

Oobrigadásso por jogar e pelas palavras! Aproveitamos e já estamos jogando o game de vocês em live aqui 💚 https://www.twitch.tv/exignorantia

haha thanks a lot for playing! AND giving the gods what they wanted! 💚

NERD TIME: Oh, and a content heart is a 'happy heart, a satisfied heart', we just lost this more classic meaning because of the 'creating content' meaning 😁

thanks a bunch for sticking around through our admittedly confusing beginning 💚 super glad you enjoyed!

so very kind, thanks for playing 💚🐙 *eldritch hug*

thanks a whole lot for playing and for the really awesome feedback! 💚

I was toying with the idea of more villagers, but I LOVE the idea of having the roster change / react to previous sacrifices. That's a really cool way to further the story, instead of just repeating it with one or two different characters.

Extra special thanks for that tasty nugget, we'll def see what could be done for a full release :))

wow, what lovely, lovely words, Jack! 💚 we're truly honored, thank you so much for playing and leaving us this incredibly kind note 🍻🐙 may the gods hug you with their thousand-thousand tentacles for us!

🐙🐙🐙 *Lovecraftian sounds of appreciation*

🐙💚 thanks for playing and the kind note, friend! we're sure the day will dawn for you soon!

💚🐙 the gods sure love a sleep-deprived brain! thanks a lot for playing and the sweet note!

💚🍻 cheers to you, friend! thanks for stopping by the pub for a sacrifice pint!

And here's part 2, focused on the Unity dev of the game: https://itch.io/blog/1002408/making-a-lovecraftian-poetry-puzzle-in-38-hours-par... 🍻

Hey pub mates! We made a behind the scenes post about the creation of Last Round: https://itch.io/blog/1002277/making-a-lovecraftian-poetry-puzzle-in-38-hours-par... hope you enjoy it!

Loved the game, and I can see a lot of potential for it. I would've liked to see an upgrade system for the farmer, things like moving and using tools faster,  automated seeding, tilling, or watering. There's a lot that can be done to make this game even better.

haha we're happy you dived anyway 💚🐙 thanks fopr playing!

The flying mechanics felt nice, and the shaders you used for the shit and asteroids were nice.

Oh... Oh no, OverMan demands blood too! 🐙💚 very fun!

💚🐙 we'll love to see in the weird place this game lives! thanks a lot!

Really cool and creative Idea. I had some trouble understanding the microphone stage's card flipping and their effects (except for the balloon animal, which states it directly).

Great art direction, interesting mechanics and overall really enjoyable!

what a great, elegant execution of a fun concept! sounds great too, well done! 💚

*blushing* no, you're weird! 💚

so very happy you dig it, thanks a lot for playing and the kind words 💚🐙 PS we'll be digging deeper into your catalogue asap, your stuff seems absolutely awesome!

solid (and haaard) idea, would love to see more beyond the jam!

ooh that's weird! the sun is the starting image for both the good and bad endings, don't think we had this freezing problem so far :\ sorry about that, but thanks for dropping by and letting us know 💚

💚🍻 thank you very much for playing!

weird is our highest praise 💚 thank you so much!
