Nice work, though a little easy. I think it would be neat if there was a little more variety in enemies and if there was a lose condition or score to keep track of to make things more challenging

cute little game! i wish there were more consequences for getting hit, feels pretty easy to pick yourself back up. a tutorial and more enemy types would've also been nice. that being said, i think this has a lot of promise! theres a surprising amount of depth to the action of stopping to shoot fish while also making sure you're making progress up the ladder. maybe some kind of time-based mechanic would help with that? idk! overall though great work from all of you!
Short sweet and simple. Love the pixel art! I don't know if it is a bug or a hidden mechanic, but you can shoot the same fish that die to get more ladder height. Once I discovered this, It became quite fun to see how many times I could hit the same fish before it fell. Great work!
Why not killing fishes to have ladder hahaha ! i had fun :) Dont hesitate to play mine, its a puzzle game about putting people on floors according to their beliefs
It was a fun experience; I really wanted to see what was at the top of the tower. I liked that the landscape changed as I climbed the stairs. In the future, you could add more weapons and enemies (larger ones that need to be defeated with more hits). I think it’s a game with great potential and good gameplay!
technically it was supposed to be used more. in the current state it is still not 100% useless though. if you happen to shoot a fish directly above you, the fish would hit you when falling down, making you fall down as well. so if you get the timing right, you could avoid that falling fish in that situation.
Really neat and original concept! Would love to see what other kinds of hazard you'll come up with in the post-jam version ;)
Really nice gameplay, A bit too easy to my liking but i really like the concept
