Nice cute idea – I did find the controls a bit hard to play as the movement is too precise for a platformer imo
Good job!
Cute game, I liked the rat and the game looked pretty nice in general!
I could only get to the start of level 4, it's a little too precise for me. I mainly just found the bumpers hard to use consistently. The abundance of checkpoints definitely helped
Gettin' cheesed, makin' that cheddah.
Very nice, looks and sounds great. I gotta say that the thumbnail is SICK. Well done :)

very cute game! ratte simulator
Really nice game! Reminds me of Celeste and path of pain from Hollow Knight.
Cute game! Precise platformers are some of my favorite games, so it was nice to see an attempt at one here. I did find the controls more frustrating than enjoyable most of the time, though - it seems you don't decelerate in the air, which threw me off significantly. I also would've appreciated an option to play the game with arrow keys / Z instead of WASD / Space; the latter control set I've always found incredibly awkward, and more than anything it prevented me from finishing the game. Overall, though, nice work.
I appreciate the feedback!
The air deceleration is definitely a problem, I think me playing the game over and over blind-sighted me while my friends didn't pick up on it while play-testing. I am redoing the movement script for a post-jam update and I will happily make sure it feels far better and more predictable.
For the controls, It did cross my mind at some point that the controls being locked would bring major issues on accessibility, it should have been a priority especially for a precise and difficult platformer. When the judging is over I will definitely feature the option in the update.
That was really fun. The art and music are awesome, and I love the mouse's tail, the feel of the bouncy things, and the zoom out death effect. So cool (though maybe a little difficult)
Thank you so much! I may have overdone the difficulty a tad.
Wow everything in this game was so cuute !! 5/5
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the game.

Remarkably solid difficulty progression especially for a jam game.
Thanks! I was worried because the only people I had to test my game were people who had seen me develop the game and knew exactly what to do, but I am glad it worked out.
The cover art got me interested. Cool game.
I was very tired and couldn't stop laughing at my own drawing like a loser, Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool game but it's frustrating to lose because how the mouse keeps sliding. I liked it
The one thing I would have done if I had more time is to make a better player controller script. Thanks for the feedback, for completeness sake I will release an updated controller once judging is over. Glad you liked the game!
I love the music and the difficulty on the game, really fun, i want to break my keyboard.|
I did not make the music, but I am glad that I chose correctly! I love difficult platformers and I might have leaned a little too hard into that direction.
I really like the style, all the art combined with the music is great! The french vibe. I love the mouse animations, top notch. One quite critical bug is that you sometimes respawn at the next checkpoint, which lets you skip a part. It is quite hard and some tight jumps. Would love to see some extra mechanics (maybe with the tail) to add to the game, but I think the best part is the style : )
Hey! I love your idea, I think swinging would be a fun use of the tail. The respawn bug is something I knew about when testing and I fixed hilariously bad scenarios that sometimes sent you backwards... Thanks for the feedback!
