I got to 64% cleaning. I love the idea, and the music fits perfectly! The controls feel appropriately soapy, my only issue is that I didn't find a way to reliably get out of the bathtub so I just kept trying until it worked somehow. But otherwise it's exactly as I expected!
This is such a nice idea, made me nostalgic of skating game I played when I was younger
lil soap dude vibes 1000 :0
This concept of controlling a soap should be exploited for a longer game. it was tricky but part of the fun like someone else wrote under.
Brilliant! Controls exactly how a sloppy bar of soap should be. Good level design. Nice work!
This is so cool. I know others have said the controls were tricky but I found that to be a big part of the fun. I glitched out on my second run and got myself stuck under one of the ramp bar things, could be user error though. Overall great game!
Nice one! Control were a bit hard for me, but maybe I just need to get better?
The idea is very nice and fun, but the controls drives me crazy - the camera movement and soap rotation is inconsistent and feel unfair when for no reason soap starts to move back istead of forward
This definetly could be a cool and fun indie game in future - but to complete the level it is more fun to compete with time and not with controls
I really like the idea and the title made me laugh. I wanted more of the game so that's good with some more challenges !
Thanks! We did initially have an idea to do a bit of a trick system, to grab a little more from the skating aspects, but sadly time did not allow for it. Maybe next time!
Can't wait for Tony Bar: Soap Skater 2.
The movement was difficult but not impossible to get used to. The map was well designed and the challenge was very unique.
The style was well executed and consistent throughout. I feel that the game does the jam theme justice, but more than that it was a lot of fun, the most fun game I have rated so far. I got very sad seeing my little bar shrinking!
Thanks for the compliments! The movement was certainly hard to balance, particularly since by the end of the jam I had played so much that I had become a terrible judge of whether or not the controls were even any good :P, but I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. The little bar of soap that could has really grown on me as well.
The fast and the foam-ious.
Felt like a race game mixed with tony hawk! :)
Interesting concept haha! Controls are a little awkward but had fun exploring
Good to hear! It was definitely a struggle to try and get the soap to be controllable yet appropriately slippery. I think we did ok within the time limit but it would definitely be the first thing to look at if we ever look at it again.
Way more fun than the last time I dropped the soap.
controls are difficult but fair. game can frustrating but i feel like its intended so great game :)))
Unique idea with a colorful style. I was able to get most of the bathroom cleaned up.
The screenshot of the page saying "You Lose" is so real- this game is very hard. Crazy unique idea though, great job!
Really cool idea! But I really couldn't cope with the navigation, my soap going in a wrong directions
