Thank you for the feedback. We were worried the mechanic would be unintuitive and I think there's definitively improvements that could be made in the controls and tutorialisation, but nice to know you enjoyed the puzzles :)

As a fellow maker of a puzzle platformer, this was great! A very different take on the looping platformer. I particularly liked the idea of the red clock pickups taking your time. I think a reset button, to start over immediately, would have been nice, but that's pretty minor. Great game!

A great amount of content for a game made in such a short time. The art is on point and the "New game+" style of loop is really cool. Well done!

A great execution of the idea of a looping shooter, love the slow mo and big ball. I could really only think of things to add, nothing really stood out to me as negative. Great job!

Great little concept you have here. The current graphics are quite nice, with a bit of audio and some imagery, I could definitely see this grow into a very pensive and thoughtful game. Keep it up!

Big fan of the presentation here. The art and audio fit perfectly and make the mundane tasks feel nice and rewarding to complete. My only, admittedly small, gripe is that the tutorial is a little wordy. But overall, y'all built a super solid game here!

Love the whole "run the same loop, but different every time" idea and I think the core mechanics here are quite nice. Given a bit more time, this could be a solid little game!

Loved the artwork, well done in such a short time. The loop (both gameplay and narrative) were simple but very enjoyable. If possible, making a web build would make it more accessible to play, but that's a minor gripe. Overall, great job!

Love myself some number go up gameplay, getting to the point where the combo no longer breaks was very satisfying. If I had to nitpick I'd say a little bit of an in-game explanation would have been nice (particularly for the boss rounds), but honestly this could work as a solid foundation for a fun little idle/roguelike. Very dope!

Nice! A solid execution of the "Loop". I really like the idea of running around the same place but it changing every time. As mentioned by others, the lack of attack feedback and occasionally loud audio was a little jarring. But the aesthetic and vibes were on point!

Thank you for the kind words! Its good to know the tutorials were clear enough, the main mechanic can admittedly be a little unintuitive. I was hoping to not interrupt playing the game and walls of text often get ignored, so I'm happy that the explanations worked.

(1 edit)

A good execution of a solid concept, occasionally felt the little guy moved a bit too quickly from side to side, but otherwise great! The little crouched guy is my favourite.

Took me a bit to figure out that the scaling was connected to the amount of blocks I placed, but a very nice twist on the tetris concept!

Thanks! We did initially have an idea to do a bit of a trick system, to grab a little more from the skating aspects, but sadly time did not allow for it. Maybe next time!

Thanks for the compliments! The movement was certainly hard to balance, particularly since by the end of the jam I had played so much that I had become a terrible judge of whether or not the controls were even any good :P, but I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. The little bar of soap that could has really grown on me as well.

Good to hear! It was definitely a struggle to try and get the soap to be controllable yet appropriately slippery. I think we did ok within the time limit but it would definitely be the first thing to look at if we ever look at it again.

Love myself some giant mechs. The little guy being flung of and having to climb back up is a great touch!

What a great concept. Surprisingly hard too. Love the whole vibe of it, well done!

Interesting concept, I feel like a restart level button would've helped a lot so that I don't have to wait when I know I'll fail. But I can see the potential in it, particularly when you have multiple things to manage

Nice! Simple and fun. Destroy to get bigger and destroy more, what more could I want :)

Cool concept. I imagine this would be a lot of fun if I didn't suck at tetris so much :P

Nicely done, an interesting take on the snake formula to be sure!

Damn well made. To do this in 4 days by yourself is very impressive. I particularly love the little spinning animations the little guy does.

A fun little action game with a very unique aesthetic. Defeating large wasps is quite satisfying :)

Great aesthetic. Controls were a bit frustrating (would have liked to turn the sensitivity down a bit), but a super fun concept with the stacking of the characters and the coat cracked me up. Well done!

A simple, original concept with impeccable vibes. Nicely done!

Hey, thanks for reaching out! Sounds interesting. I'm sure we can figure something out if you have a date and time in mind.

Nice! A really creative twist on the theme and the simplicity works well for the game. Small tip, adding some options for volume and/or a "how to play" in-game would be a really nice and relatively simple addition. Hope that the jam was fun!

Super cool concept, really love the idea of a reversed rhythm game. The presentation could use a little work and a "how to play" would have been nice, but otherwise a great game!

Nicely done! Sadly it was a little unstable for me and kept freezing, but the presentation is really nice. Love myself some duckey action.

Shame you didn't get far, the idea is very interesting.

Very fun, I really liked the presentation in particular. Simple yet very cool.

Nice! Having to rotate the level instead of moving the character is well done. Very "Jump King"-ey

Good stuff, I like the implementation of the dice as both a weapon and a buff

A real shame about the technical difficulties with uploading the game, its a super clever little game. love the idea and the execution is good too.

Absolutely love the presentation, getting random effects when you get hit is well executed, also really like the death save as well.

Very nice, the idea of taking a multiple choice system and providing a lot of choices while still keeping the result vague is very interesting.
