A really clever way of incorporating the theme :DD I love the art. I think it just needs a little more feedback to see what I'm doing in the game. I also didn't notice the arrows at first, so I think you could still improve on the color choice so make it more noticeable :> Good game!
Really cute game! The art is amazing and the song fits the game and sounds good. My only complaints is that I didn't know where the dogs hitbox was in the beggining, and also that I didn't know what to do in the beginning before the notes started playing(This made me try out buttons and lose health). Overall a really good game :D
I would love it if there were a countdown at the start. I was super excited, so I tried the buttons, and my song failed. :( Overall, it is a unique perspective for the theme and such cute gameplay. Great work, everyone!
Aww this is so cute and wholesome. I love it. Great tune to go along with it as well. Nice take on “scale” hehe.
it was so cute ! i love the artstyle and music :) well done

Haha, that's an interesting interpretation of game jam's theme! I like it :D
The cutest art ever. I think the application of the theme was very unique and the music was great. The criticism I'd have is that to me it wasn't evident it was a rythm game at first so I lost lots of heart power spamming keys. The notes coming from the side was a nice novel idea as well but it was a little hard to discern the boat's hitbox.
I liked how you have to react to the music coming from the top and then from the left, but at first I didn't realize that was what I was supposed to do
I'll try to be as constructive as possible when writing this review:
Interesting take on the scaling factor, but little to nothing on "->built <-to scale" (correct me if I'm wrong)
I think it's interesing and creative to go for music that scales as I think fewer people will do this. However the actual gameplay feels boring and repetitive. I think this would be great for a 48 hour game jam, but for 96 hours there should be more than 2 mechanics. The mehcanics you have are simple but polished, but again it becomes repetitive. -but that might also be due to the game not being my type of game
I'm not sure if I'm too harsh or not, this is my first jam and the first game I'm reviewing, wish you all luck =)
