An experience that, while i found a bit repetitive after a bit, was executed really well and the style gave me genuine anxiety. great job, glad to see a game about rats :)

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing!! Yeah I do agree the game does get repetitive after a bit I will try to improve it in future updates! :>

Great meme potential. Gameplay is nice. Idea is unique.

This was definitely an experience. Style is ~~m~~nice, but gameplay overall is a bit boring. But may be it’s just not my type of game

Kudos

Thanks glad you played it anyway! :)

Very cool retro aesthetic! It gives of almost horror vibes.

I found that continually moving left or right while going up (ie, climbing the tower in a spiral) seems to confuse the boulder spawning in such a way that I never encounter any.

Developer

yeah the objects spawn randomly above the player so it might be why they missed you a lot, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Awesome game! The low poly retro graphics give it a nice vibe and concept is quite creative. It would've been nice to see some kind of 'natural events' system to add more variety or some rat powerups - but overall solid for a jam game! The sizing mechanic is clever and I like the timing system. Good game!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback those ideas sound really good, after the jam ends I might add some of those thank you for playing <:

Rats, we are rats, we are the rats, we pray at night, we stalk at night, we are the rats, I am the giant rat that makes another ruse, let's see what [unintelligible] we can get ourself into.
Cool Easter egg.
Constantly spiraling around the skyscraper makes this a breeze, no chance for the sky poop to hit you

funny low poly rat climbing .

I like the retro 3D artstyle! But honestly the gameplay gets old really quickly and then you get knocked off and you have to do the same thing again...
