Nice graphics and really creative, However the hooks seem to make the car fly and a car with only wheels doesn't even climb very small hills. As others said, creating the car is more enjoyable than driving it. Thanks for making this!
it's cool, but the cars I create always fly away somewhere :D
Looks very nice, and I enjoyed building the machines more than seeing them drive. I would say have it so you can make adjustments to your current car instead of always resetting it.
That is a good point!
Really great concept! I had a lot of fun building my own vehicle, and the music is great too!
The physics definitely needs some work, I couldn’t make something simple without it rolling in circles or just falling on the floor ^^’
I had some trouble building anything functional (the concept of using the button was hard to wrap my mind around for some reason), but this is a neat concept! Whenever I see these games about building vehicles I'm reminded of playing Bad Piggies when I was younger, haha. Nice work on this.
Ye its quite tricky to build something that works n the tutorial could use being more detailed to explain things further - Ty fer playing n feedback!
The UX is weird but good idea. Implemented decently for It's time taken. UI could also be better, and explaining things better could do well. Models are really great.
Overall a good idea
Ye the tutorial wasn't as detailed or interactive as we wanted, and the UI n UX could have spent more time in the oven... Thanks for playing n fer the feedback!
Interesting idea. However this is really too complicated. Not only these modules have no description of any kind, but also the moment you hit simulate the whole thing starts fumbling in all sorts of ways out of control. In the few attempts I have I couldn't build anything that I could actually control.
Maybe we should have added in the how to play that since it is physics based each shape and weight of it determines how to build your vehicle. The one that is the buggies for me is the car frame. The bike worked with counterweights and the bigger one as well. The vehicle is supposed to move on its own, no controlling, that was part of the fun for us. Thanks for the feedback!
Looks really good, but I couldn't figure out how to build anything that is p layable. With some polishing though looks like a nice challenge!
As it is now it can be very tricky to find the right balance, and I think the quad wheeler is broken altogether xd. But there are some designs that work. Thanks for the feedback!
Great work on your game! It reminded me of an old ipad game I used to really like to play but in 3D instead of 2D. I had some trouble getting a car that didn't flip upside down right after completing it. And I also struggled with controlling the vehicle once it was made. I switched over to flat mode in hopes that I would have better luck but I still couldn't get the car to really drive all that well. The bombs that let you add some force to the car was a good idea to help people from getting stuck! Also the building mechanic was very well made. The art was also very well put together and appealing. For the short timeframe, this is very impressive!
Thanks! There were some issues getting the wheels to work optimally but we are happy on how it turned out. We noticed how messy it could get but I kinda see it as part of the fun and experimenting. It got a good laugh out of me more than once with its jankiness.
Same game idea! <3
I really like the art and sound design, definitely a lot more aesthetic polish went into this submission than I managed to get done. I can commiserate with the physics jankiness since my entire jam was spent trying to get the physics to behave. I think I would've preferred having more direct control over the vehicle, but that led to a lot of frustration in my project, so I can understand the decision you took.
Great Job~
Good points! The scope of the game was somewhat bigger but we had to trim a lot to make it to the end of the gamejam. In my personal case I just love building random stuff and breaking the game, which it isn't hard, making it part of the game itself for me.
