The game is kinda cool I have to admit, but I agree with others, you should add more species of fish, but overall, it's a great game, can you also play my game so I can get feedbacks please!!
I enjoyed your game. But I think you should add more species of fish. Also, the mechanics of the daylight saving time when you are hunted by those you hunted seemed a bit odd. Maybe it would have been more interesting to add other fish that could attack you right out of the darkness. Nevertheless, you have done a good job!
Love the spin on the theme of light and dark more, and how the game aesthetics tie into it!
Neat to see another game that doesn't just reverse the roles once, but keeps switching them around!
The atmosphere of the game is really good and I do like that when it's dark, you need to actively search for the fish, but when it's light and the fish can hunt you, you can clearly see where the fish are.
A small issue I had with switching between hunting or being hunted is that, when I was hunting and the hunting phase ended, I'd usually be with quite a lot of fish and I'd immediately take damage. I think it would be nice if there was a little warning that phases were going to change, or a small period of immunity when the fish start hunting you!
Still, I do very much like the art of the game - I love cyan/purple/pink colors and this game fits that need exactly!
I fully agree with you. The state change is just instant but I left that as a "future-me problem" and didn't have time to polish. Also would have wanted to add an indicator for when the dash is replenished but a Jam game is a JAM GAME :D
For the art I have to give credit to my friends. I did literally almost none of it :D They're professionals and I'm just a noob-coder :=)

Thank god for the grace period!
Building the game caused a complete Game-Breaking bug and while fixing it (which I managed within the time period) I caused alot of physics bugs which would have severly diminished gamefeel.
But the grace period allowed me to check my code and for a 48h game it's pretty okay! A fun 3-5min while fitting the theme well.
