Absolutely worth the download!! This game is INCREDIBLE! Perfect score from me! The art direction, music, writing, and gameplay are all fantastic!
Definitely one of my favorite games I have played from this jam! I love learning new info and then going back through the other loops! Also, changing the speed the text appears was such a cool touch!
Bravo!

This has been my favourite experience to play, you got my full points. The art is so cohesive and special, creative. The theme is on point and the narration super well written. It's fun to explore the instances, makes notes and puzzle together where to be at which time after having all the pieces of information necessary. The ending was fitting and satisfying enough to close off the thought-invoking experience. I feel like you scoped super well and did great resource managing with this not just very engaging and unique experience, but also one that could live off less sprites perfectly fine. It's a prime example for an incredibly nice and thoughtful 48 hour game jam game. Absolutely in love, thanks for letting us enjoy your game!! <3

This is the most unique game I have seen so far in this jam. The art is absolutely trippy, but in a way that really compliments the game you made. The feeling of hopelessness seems to be ingrained into the game. Well done on creating an experience like this in such a short time :)

This is legit fun and very well-made. The unique art style makes it even better. Doesn't feel like a game from a two-day game jam instead from a team that had months of development. One thing I just want to say is, the mc really deserves to die. lol. Great job!

Awesome game!  You've got a really interesting concept and some amazing art.  Really great work!

Weird, it gave me a green screen and didn't allow to do anything.

Developer(+1)

sorry about that, to be honest i'm not even sure where to look for the cause

maybe there's something weird going on with the shader i use for the main menu

thanks for letting me know though!

Wow. Started playing this yesterday, but made the decision to push it back to when I have time to actually appreciate it. And yup, that was definitely the right call.

This was definitely a unique experience, and I mean that in a good way. The gameplay loop was super creative. Having so little dialogue options meant the game could be semi-brute-forced relatively easily, but considering the time constraints, it’s still impressive how much you put in there and how well it was designed. Still, I can’t help imagining what a fantastic knowledge-based game this could turn into given more development time. (I’m always a little sad I watched an Outer Wilds LP instead of playing it myself, but this is sort of giving me similar vibes)

Writing was great and as much as I love how many people went for tougue-in-cheek entries, it was actually somewhat refreshing to see a darker and grittier take on the “you are the NPC” theme. I’m not sure I completely “got” the ending, but it did give me literal goosebumps. Very well done!

The graphic style is super interesting and I love the cross-stitch look of it. For my personal taste, the colors were clashing a bit too much. That’s really my only major point of criticism for the entire game, though.

This ended up being one of my favourite entries this jam. I’m glad I gave it the time it deserved. Thank you for making it!

thank you for the kind words and spending your time to play the game!! :)

you're right about the dialogue options! it was in part due to not having enough time, but also i was worried about drowning the players with too much stuff to click on. having a longer game in a jam is already a big ask considering the amount of entries and generally the amount of time people are willing to spend on a game they didn't fully "choose" to play, so i tried not to overwhelm anyone and make the game relatively easy to finish while still showcasing the main idea. it did make it so that there's pretty much nothing to explore outside of the main "quest" though

and hey, just in case you only watched the main game LP, echoes of the eye is absolutely worth getting outer wilds for! :P

Yeah, for a jam game those are definitely good points, since yeah, the game is a little tricky to get into. A post-jam version would probably be much more suited for that :D

Heh, yeah, I watched that one too, unfortunately (?). Though honestly, I’m not sure my crappy laptop GPU would have been able to run the game anyway, so better to experience it second-hand than not at all!
