Really fun and relaxing, would've loved a reset button for when I completed mess up a puzzle due to my lack of spatial visualisation ability though :P

Cool game, interesting idea!

This is a very chill and enjoyable puzzle game. I love andomness of the puzzle and the art style.  The new level button doesn't appear when I finish a puzzle either. Nevertheless, it's still a very good game.

great puzzle! had me staring at my screen for quite some time goin hmmmmmmmmm hm mm hmmmmm hmmm hmmm hmmmm hmmmmmm

Cool idea and lots of fun to play. I like the randomness of the puzzles, it is so challenging!

This was challenging but i managed to finish it :D It's a great game, thank you :)
Are you using WFC to check the validity of the tiles or is it just inspired by WFC ?
Also i think you should add a button to start a new game at the end

Developer(+1)

Well.. WFC is used for generation. I guess it's needed to do validation work too, because now completion check is very cheap.
And as from your screen - it's even not effective sometimes)
The game has button "new level", but since validation isn't perfect - it didn't give it to you)
Also, there're particles and sounds after complition too
sorry for that bug happened to you)

Submitted (1 edit)

Oh ok i got the particles and the sound, but not the button. I guess you are generating the tiles with wfc and then cutting to make multiple block of tiles, and so you don't verify validity using wfc at the end.

I didn't expect I'd actually finish it, but it was a very nice, relaxing experience. Lovely style and music as well!

The game is so  relaxing with the right choice of music, although a bit difficult.

OMG this is hard. I liked the game! At the beginning, I got frustrated and was about to give up, but recapacitated and manage to beat 2 levels! Good difficult entretaining game.

Personally, I don't think the theme is being used or showcased that much. It feels just like a forced justification for the game.

My respects to the guy (or girl) who programmed the puzzle generation, because I know there are a lot of stuff about it: generating the world and making all the 1x1 tiles match with their surroundings to form the castles and park-paths; cutting the pieces and separating them, etc.... Congrats to that dev!

It also adds a really good factor of replayability!

I think it would be very useful to have the pieces outline highlighted, because once you place them together the parts are indistinguishable and you don't kown which tiles are together or separated.

Very nice visual presentation and really good soundtrack! I really enjoyed the soundtrack!

Developer(+1)

TBH, at first I thought about a bit different game, more like opposite to "unblock me", where player should unblock one block out of puzzle. But things changed at process)
Yes, generation is kinda hard and I can't say it's good enough - I'm rewriting it right now
Highlighting is in plans too as well as different map sizes and different tilesets
Time limitation was very crucial and I'm surprized that managed to be in it..

Thanks a lot for your comment!

I had a lot of fun with this one, even if I didn't manage to solve the puzzle.

It might be useful if the pieces had an outline until you placed them in the right position. That would make it easier to tell what shape the pieces outside the square are, as well as providing feedback and a sense of progression as you complete the puzzle.

Good job! :)

Developer

I guess I'll do something like a hint button to highlight, what placed right)
Also, I accidentally made some mistakes - wrong wall connections for example))
Thanks for review

I just played for over 2 hours straight so I'd say its a pretty good game :P. The only thing that needs fixing is the dragging, I found that when I keep my mouse still (or drag it back to where it started), the piece doesn't always end up back where it started, which makes the dragging feel a little awkward. Fix that and this could easily go on Steam. Great job!

It was really difficult at first but I couldn’t stop playing once I got into it and solving the puzzle was very satisfying. Great work!

The music choice is great! Makes the games very relaxing and I'm all for it
Nice concept!

Cool concept, quite difficult.

Love these types of puzzles, challenging but still very logical.
( the music was relaxing :D )

I was able to complete a map, but the end screen did not show -

I am guessing since it's randomly generated, it can generate a map on where there are more than one way to solve it?

Developer(+1)

Well.. It's as you said)

But in your case - it's really not solved

In right corner there's a piece of road not connected to anything

But yeah.. It may be a bit frustrating

Submitted

I see! it's the 2 pieces that should've been swapped, still a good game :)

I like the idea and the presentation.
The levels it generated for me were a little too difficult (at least as a first time player).
I also think it would help if the shape gets highlighted on mouseover and not just on click, so it's more clear which part will be moved.

super interseting and unique puzzle game. the pieces can be a bit buggy to move but apart from that love it. made my brain hurt

Submitted(+1)

Very relaxing game ! Great music and the idea is really cool. Only issue was that moving pieces around was a bit buggy at times. Also the river really helps to start the puzzle of (awesome)
