How does your game fit the theme?
You have to hook up machines to a generator and connect machines to each other. Connections are limited and so is power, so every connection has to be well thought through.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

The mechanics of this game were well executed! I loved the tutorial and the music from the  menu. The idea of a burn out was also great. Maybe let the player create new machines. I think that would give the player a better fell of progreess. I really enjoyed playing your game.

Great work!

Wow, I got quite hooked up! I've had a hard time at the start (even with the tutorial, nice addition btw) but when I knew how to link machines I got absorbed into the game! Seriously, this is a great taken on the tower defense genre! I would love there were more reason to create "products" (right now it's only for the sake of points, I guess?), but it's a great game specially with the 48h limit.

Intuitive and addicting. A really great interpretation of the theme. Good job!

Had to stop playing before I game over'd because I needed to accomplish something with my life at some point and this was quickly becoming a full time career choice. I need to make a living holding down a 9-5 job to feed my 2.4 kids and you expect me to play something as addictive as this?! The nerve of you sir!!

Had a great time playing, probably too great. Didn't want to stop, am poor now.

Art was a little basic, but completely fucktional, this was probably the most well made jam game I've played so far this jam. Not difficult to figure out, but very difficult to play efficiently. Good jorb

Hi, thanks for reviewing my game! I love factory games, and this one was very cool. Well done. I really like how you did the tutorial. Good way to teach the game when you don't have time to design a full tutorial, and the comedy around the mysterious product and enemies gave the game a lot of character.

Very cool! I love the interpretation of the theme! IT felt very close to be a professional quality educational game that I would have played as a kid in the 90s. Thanks for making it!

This was actually a really awesome, fun and very well balanced game! Of course not everything could've been top notch but the graphics still were good enough to be enjoyable. Rooting for you to place high!

Thank you so much! Due to how the public voting system works, sadly there's going to be games left behind that would've been higher up, had they had a bit more exposure to players. And honestly, as much as I'd love to place somewhere high, even if I don't I know that it's one of the better games I've made so far, and that even after this jam my team and I will continue to work on it.

And it's nice comments like yours that make every hour I spent of that weekend perfectly worth it, so thank you very much again

This was really fun to play, my only gripe was some of the positions of connecting factories being on opposite sides of the generator got a bit confusing. Otherwise the adaptive soundtrack and gameplay were spot on!

Finished it in 13.33 minutes with no health loss! I guess I was a little slow...

This game is really great... The way it fits the theme, the constraints in the core gameplay, the way it feels to optimize things...

Such an original approach I'd say, I really had fun. I wish I could've seen it in a better shape graphics-wise, not more detailed but simple and polished; because, then it would be one of the best games that could've ever been made in a 48-hour game jam such as this one.

Great job, loved it!

Thank you so so very much! I spent pretty much every minute of the jam working on the game to get it to where it is right now, and I'm lucky to have such an amazing musician as a member of my team, and we've got some more people soon helping out with polishing the game further. It really was an experience for me, being my first ever game jam, and I'm really glad that all of that work paid out!

What the hell! I don't get it! I don't usually like these types of games, but for some reason I couldn't stop! I got addicted to watching the numbers tick! With some upgrades to presentation, balance, a story mode, and additional modules, I could easily see myself buying a game like this. Please let me know if there's ever a full release of this game! :D

Well you're in luck my friend, because we've got a lot of what you mentioned planned for the future!

And don't worry, the game will stay free :D

Simple, but really well executed!

Really liked the idea and execution. The tutorial "video" was a nice touch :)

well done, it was a little clunky as far as feedback for what was going on, even just a liitle animation on the resource counters when they changed would help, ran out of ammo and wasn't really sure what I ran out of in the chain of machines. Dynamic music was cool but it was a little sore on the eyes

Developer(+1)

I'll keep those points in mind for after the jam when I'll make some visual / gameplay changes.

I agree, it looks a bit.. flat. If we'd had a bit more time we could've had better machine sprites and a better background.

Oh and thanks for the idea with the resource counter animations, that's a pretty good one!

I really like this game! I'm really into incremental games and this is a good one. Sometimes I get confused with so many connections but it's so cool to manage all the resources. Congrats!

this was really cool! I absolutely loved the tutorial voiceover, and I really enjoyed trying to manage everything in the game itself

Developer

Thank you! I wanted to add a fully interactive tutorial but didn't have time to do so, so I went for a video instead :D

Glad you enjoyed it, I loved making it and so did my sound / visuals friend
