Super janky controls (in a good way), fun mechanics ! Good entry, fits the theme :D

Thanks for playing! I will take that as a compliment :D

Super entertaining. Good choice in art and music assets, they work really well with the game!

Really fun game ! I would never have thought of a mechanic where you blow up things by releasing projectiles attached to a car, but you made it, with just enough aim assist so that it feels satisfying without being too hard. I think the driving could be improved a bit, some turns are very hard to make without crashing but it still works really well. I would just increase the health because when you get chased it goes out really fast and gets a bit frustrating. Great entry overall, I had a lot of fun !

Thanks for playing and the comments. I agree that the driving needs a bit of work and yeah I'm thinking of adding a bit of health regen which should help.

Hi, this game is so crisp. It feels so satisfying drifting around that if you gave it to me on an empty level I could probably just drive around aimlessly for fun.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but performance was pretty bad for me on the downloaded version. It's just a game jam, but it could benefit from some performance optimisation afterwards and the driving would feel a lot more satisfying.

Hi thanks for playing and the comments. Not 100% sure what could be the performance issues but I will take a look and upload a build post jam.

This is awesome!! I love just drifting around being chased haha it has some zen art of rally vibes - maybe it's just the minimal style. The driving mechanics feel good too even if they are a little twitchy. Nice entry!

Developer

Thanks yeah, that was some of the inspiration as was absolute drift. I will be reducing the driving twitchy ness a bit post jam and will make sure to checkout your game!

it was pretty satisfying doing donuts to destroy the terminals.  the controls were kind of crazy, but very fun! there was a ton of detail and polish with the drifting and sound sfx! great work

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I will tweak the controls a bit after the rating ends as it's clear some people are struggling with them.  I will make sure to checkout your game.

Driving and spinning iron balls on chains is very fun.

Very polished, looks and sounds great.

Wish the controls were a bit more forgiving or the levels were a bit more open as I was crashing everywhere. But maybe I just need to get good ;)

Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, agree that controls need tweaking. As for getting good, that's the problem. I have played this game for hours so the controls are easy for me.... I guess a solo jam with little to no playtesting was a bad idea. I will take a look at your game soon :)

yeah the same happened to my gtmk jam game last year. This time I tried to lean more to the easy side, but as you said, is always hard to playtest properly in these jams.

Your game is solid though, impressive that you did it by yourself.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, other years I over scoped but this one decided to keep it small but allow me to create levels to expand it. Worked out much better and meant I could polish it all before actually making the game. I didn't even know what the game was until Sunday. Just had a cool mechanic of driving, picking stuff up, and launching it.  Thanks for the comments though :)
