I found a way to almost fly by switching the gravity constantly, adding a cooldown may avoid this. Dracaemelos already said all the bugs I have encounter.

The game is also to hard, I think. It may be better with an easy start to let the player learn the mechanics.

It’s a good jam entry though, well done 👏

A little difficult to keep the track of both the foxes, but I like the presentation very much :) ~Do check mine when you get time

I do think this is a very interesting mechanic, but sadly, I ran into too many bugs to get very far : /  (Especially because I'm my bad-at-platformers self)
In case any of them help if you end up looking for them: for one, it seemed that one of the foxes being killed by a frog didn't stop my gameplay; for another, it seemed that the screen would only ever go to the right, and would eventually just... be way to the right of where the characters were.  That was the one that lost me, because I was unable to make it so my characters were still on-screen for me to play with them for very long. At one point I was able to just keep hitting jump and side, and it looked like an auto-scroller (but without the characters) and I didn't lose until somewhere halfway through the level just by virtue of ... well, I'm not really sure what happened since neither fox had been on-screen for a bit by that point, but I surmise my remaining fox finally ran into a hazard that it could not surpass.  It did seem as though the foxes could infinitely keep jumping.
Sorry that came off so harshly! T_T  I really would be interested to see how this played if the game would stay in its screen.  Either way congratulations on putting it together, it's certainly more than I could do!!  Thanks for the fun experience ^_^  Cheers.

That was not harsh XD. Thank you very much for an honest opinion. I will try to implement that.

Cool concept, and it looks great. The gameplay itself is pretty tough though. I wonder if locked the character's horizontal position together would help some in keeping everything manageable. Also I wonder if you could replace the jump with just using the gravity switch more. Definitely a solid start to a game and it has a lot of interesting potential.

(FYI: at one point during a gravity switch, my foxes collided in midair and stayed there. I was able to float through the middle of most the level like that. May be a bug but could also lead to a neat feature.)

it's pretty difficult to keep track of both foxes at once. i couldn't get very far, also there was a bug where a fox went inside a wall

Ah yes, there is that problem with pressing 'G'. Fox fails to identify the correct side of ground if there is collision with more objects due to reversing, etc. I will surely improve my code. Thanks for the feedback !!

I like the concept of this game, and I like how easy it is to get offset so that the characters aren't always right above each other. However, I feel like I can't keep them both in my vision at the same time, which leads to the overwhelmed feeling that I felt and some other people seem to be talking about. Narrowing the playable screen and/or zooming in and bringing the characters closer together visually may help with that without sacrificing the complexity of the platforming itself.

Glad you liked the concept. I will try to implement the suggestions. Thanks for the feedback!!

Foxes are suprisingly good at climbing vertical walls :D .. Pretty hard to control both characters at the same time, specially when there are that many hazards lying around.

Really great artwork here, especially loved the sprite work on the enemies and the background. As others have mentioned, I think less deceleration on the character movement would be an improvement, but overall nice job!

Thanks man!! I'm glad you liked most of it.

So, you liked it or not? 😂

Love the concept, messing with gravity was one of my first obsessions in game design :D

Felt a bit ovewhelmed by all the stuff that was happening on screen. Perhaps start with a smaller level?

On the technical side, the camera movement felt a bit random and hard to control, and the characters were sliding way too much before stopping. As a rule of thumb, try to aim for very tight controls on platformers.

Great choice of art & sound, cute is definitely the way to go!

Keep it up!

I thought smaller/easy levels might bore players. Anyways, I will keep in my mind the suggestions for sliding and camera. Thank you for such a detailed feedback.

cool game,  though difficulty is high

Was a cool game, though the controllers where a bit off...

Developer

Hey man, thanks for playing the game.

Could you specify the problem with controllers or any problem in general?

When you walk you slide a lot after you stop. And the jump is a bit weird I don't know how to explain...

Developer(+1)

Ah yes, sliding seems to be a problem. Jump/double jump should be fine but idk. Anyways, thank you very much for the feedback. I will try to improve it.
