Great game!

I love it!

Developer(+1)

Thaaaaaank youuuuuuuuuuuu!

The puzzles were very good.  Although the controls were a bit confusing, I really enjoyed playing.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game!

And yeah, I took a little bit of a risk with the controls because of the angle of the camera. It could take some time to get used to them in the same way it can take some time to get used to the controls while playing Qbert, but I think it’s the best way to appreciate the tridimensionality of the models (since they’re soooo blocky) and I wanted to have the perspective as a nod to the old isometric games like Marble Madness, Snakes Rattle & Roll, Qbert, etc.

I’m sure I’ll find a way to accommodate for this issue in future iterations :)

Adorable ducks! The puzzles had really nice presentation and difficulty curve. Very cool game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game! I’m glad you liked what I managed to put together for the jam!

Submitted(+2)

Loved the duck and its adorable animation, the concept is great and the puzzle creation was really intuitive and made me feel GREAT when i found the solutions!

Great work!

Thanks for taking the time to try out my game and leave a comment! I’m glad you liked my jam entry!

I like it how the extra ducklings pop into the game and you have a new riddle to solve. Nice take on this!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game and I’m glad you like it!

Submitted(+3)

great game tho i do wish there were a few more levels.

Developer(+3)

Thank you!

And yeah, I agree that more levels would have been nice. Still, some other features were left in the backlog due to time constraints but I’ll definitely iterate on this game a couple more times and we’ll all be able to play around with the new tiles, game modes, etc.

Hot damn , this game look sexy!!, good job

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game and leave a comment! Do you know what’s sexier than this game? You, of course!

Submitted(+2)

I like that the puzzle is simple to understand and difficulty is naturally go up by the number of ducks.

and the 3d-block duck is really cute.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to try out my game and leave a comment!

Yeah, the intention was that the difficulty ramped up with the number of ducks (trivia: there were originally going to be 4 ducks!! [a green one was the fourth] But the game became too difficult IMO).

Now that I think about it, I might make a HELL MODE where there’s always 4 ducks and never-ending buttons mwahahaahahhaaahaahahahahMHAHAHAAAHAHAHA~

No, but seriously, thanks!

Submitted(+2)

I think 4th duck will be challenging but playable, maybe even 5th duck when player get used to the 4th duck (I think it will be hell for designer side instead of player lol)

I loved the ducklings they are so cute! A great puzzle game and now my brain hurts haha. Nice job, I think my only critique is some of the sound effects were really loud.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to play my game and leave a comment!

I’m sorry for what I did to your brain with the puzzles and the sounds. I’ll do it better next time, ocean-san~

But jokes aside, thanks for the critique as those are also very welcome and very much appreciated. I do agree that the sounds are 1) too “bumpy” and 2) too loud but if I had to admit a couple of things I’d say that sound design and UI design are my weakest points when it comes to game development (and it clearly shows).

This was really unique and creative! I'm usually not a big puzzle game person, but I'd happily play more levels!

Developer(+2)

Wow! Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to try out my game!

I’m not a puzzle game person either, which is kinda why I wanted to use that genre in my jam entry. I think that when you create a game for a genre you don’t particularly respond to you end up making something that other people that don’t particularly enjoy the genre can play and enjoy too.

I want to add more levels too!

Submitted(+2)

Thanks for the reply :)

If you do add more levels and make a full release, maybe there could be some sections with bridges to other platforms. It has endless possibilities, honestly!

Developer

Wow, thank you! Those are really nice suggestions! I’ll definitely keep them in mind for future iterations!

Submitted(+2)

Great use of the game theme!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I appreciate that you took the time to not only try out the game but also comment on it!

Submitted(+2)

Great Idea! Wish there were more levels

Developer(+1)

Thanks for taking the time to try out my game. I’m glad you liked it!

And regarding the “more levels” part… I know, right? I want to add more levels to it in the future, also introduce new tiles and game modes (button rush, level creator, etc).

Submitted(+2)

Super cool!

Developer(+1)

I’m glad you liked my game! Thanks for taking the time to try it out!

well done! I enjoy discovering how could I pass the game without reading the instructions. LOL Was easy to me to discover what to do to pass each level. very intuitive. I'll keep waiting more levels with more difficult each time! congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the jam entry!
