Love it! Reminds me of an old and really fun game called Hammerfight! I wish there was a bit more enemy variety and maybe some physics, but great job!

@LeviMakesGames very good mechanic although updating the art would make it much better :) overall good job :D
Yes, a flail game ! I've seen a lot of games that tried to add some strange mechanics to that (with platformers, obstacle-only, stuff like that), but finally, I've found just a brutal flail to swing in the enemies face !
The concept is simple, but effective, and I liked having a lot of space to swing, while needing to maneuver carefully -but quickly- when the enemies were closer. Also, compared to other similar games, I really liked that the play was invincible and needed to protect something else, it made swinging the flail without worrying really fun !
This is an interesting way to combine waves and the theme -- great job! I had fun playing, and I think the 4 squares in the center do a good job of forcing the player to come up with a plan. Nice work.
Very fun game with a great concept. I quite like these mace swinging games and thought your blocking boxes was a good idea to prevent players from just constantly spinning in the middle. The mace took a tiny bit too long to spin up for me which made it feel very annoying when you hit a box. There is a glitch where the mace can get stuck behind one of the boxes in which case the ropes start shooting around and the mace won't get dislodged. I'd love if when you hit enemies with the mace you got a little screen shake and a bit more of a bass-y sound, but that's real minor stuff. Great job!
Nice game and very well designed. You always know when you will win, so if you lose and you were in the 9th wave you can say to you, I was too close, next time I will beat it. Also I like that pillows near your "heart", so it is harder to manipulate with the mace. And last thing that I liked was slowing the time, when you get hit, so you have kill some enemies and don't die at one second just because you left 3 enemies near your health.
Also everything is well polished, good job.
it was a funny experience! cleared all 10 waves and enjoyed it a lot
the controls are smooth and I really feel immersed in the gameplay
right now is a bit easy, but you have a proof of concept! great job! =)
I think this is possibly the only buttonless game in this jam, so awesome idea there. It would probably be pretty easy to make a mobile version of this. I also do enjoy flails quite a bit, and it is pretty fun to fling it around.
It did bother me a bit that the red color was used on the health pickup sparkles, but not the health pickup itself. I makes it feels like the lack of a health pickup is more attention-worthy than having one available.
Great Job!
Fun game! I really enjoyed the combat. Some screenshake wuld have enhanced it even more. Very nice game!
This was a really enjoyable game, I loved swinging the mace around! With a bit of work on the art and maybe a few more enemies this would make a wonderful mobile game! Also, I am guessing you made this in Godot, hope you liked the engine if you did!
Thanks, bro! I can't say how much these comment matters! I don't have enough time during the jam, and I'm not too good at art, but I try! I polished the game a bit in the post-jam update! I'm satisfied with Godot. It is much easier for me than Unity. I learnd Godot quite fast, during the GoGodotJam. I really enjoyed it!^^
I have alway love a physics based game!! Great idea and fit the theme really well! My only suggestion is when handle of mace collide with enemy could lose health or other kind of effect, since right now I found the best strategy is just drag the mace onto enemies face, if it requires player to swing the mace to do the attack and protect the handle bar in the center it brings more satisfaction. That's just my own opinion, awesome game! And thanks for playing our game Babylon-Tower!
