How does your game fit the theme?
This game requires the player to constantly pay attention to the maintenance of the ship, otherwise the situation can go out of control very quicky.

I really like how it is out of control but not too out of control. It is very polished and has a lot of depth :3

Took me a while to get into it, but I got it eventually. I didn't realise I had to move the crew to certain spaces and they would start fixing the parts. I also didn't realise I had to press the levers until like my third preview.  Maybe you could make a quick video for your game page?

I liked this a lot and I think the art style was great!

I did struggle like some others figuring out what icons did what at first

It took me a while to figure out the stations don't become operational even when the bar is full until you move the worker away.  The spinning rainbow wheel icon made it look like they were still doing something to me (it looks like the old Mac OS loading icon) I think having to move them away is a good choice though so they can't constantly maintain the stations

I also thought it was great that the mechanic and scientist (or whatever they are called) can't walk through each other. That adds some extra difficulty and planning.

I think my biggest gripe was probably having to do too much with just the mouse. At least me personally if I could have used keyboard controls to control the actual ship that would have made the experience much more enjoyable than trying to click those little switches, and juggle balancing the workers, but I also expected a lot of difficult controls with the theme this year

Great job! I'd love to see another level with maybe a bigger slower ship, but more stations to maintain to really up the puzzle aspect.

Controls were actually a big question during development, we hesitated between keyboard + mouse or full mouse, unfortunatly we didn't had the time to playtest both so we decided to go with the safer option.

I really loved this game! Had lots of fun! Congrats on your creation.

A good concept which could have benefited a little more development time i think, but that's just the nature of a game jam. It's still fun though despite the current flaws. Good job.

Very nice mechanic here! i like it! Good luck!

Cool concept! I thought visuals were pretty confusing and had a hard time figuring out what each symbol was and what was happening to the 'system stations'. I would have also like the background to scroll when you moved so it was more clear where the ship was going. Good job!

Yes conveyance of information is always super tough to do right in game jams ^^

Fun game, it has a very lover's in a dangerous spacetime feel to it. Although at parts its not obvious to the player what something does without first running the ship into it. It also becomes increasingly more difficult to manage resources further into the game, might be better if the workers could move faster or the bars of each power doesnt deplete as quickly

Developer

Yes I agree, we wanted to give players some upgrade choice every few seconds (like more health to one module, another worker, or stuff like that) but we didn't had the time ^^

Really cool concept! Maybe you could make it so that instead of fixing things, people have to be at certain places to control certain aspects of the ship (go to the steering part to turn and the shooting place to shoot). It could become more strategic that way. I think this game could be awesome with more time and polish! Please check my game out. I love feedback.

Developer

We thought about it but it would have been trickier to design since you could easily break the game by just abusing one or two abilities.

This is a nice game ^^ the switches were a little hard to find at first but the idea is really nice ^^

The music is great and the art looks very nice ^^ good job ^^

Only the pathfinding seem a little weird, they just want to walk into each other ^^ but that's okay ^^

Yeah the "running in eachother" part is intended but not really clear

A very clever and original play on theme! Some very nice touches as well with the music (go past around 45-50 seconds to see what I mean) and lovely artwork. Excellent job :)

Thank you so much for your kind comment!

Thank you for playing :)
Actually the music add layers when you lose health, it's not  based on time.
