The sparks weren't very intimidating...
Nice idea to switch the gravity on and off (btw, initially I thought you got the same idea as me xD). I wish there was more stuff to do (maybe a storyline or something) but I agree that it's hard to do much in 48 hrs.
Minor issue I found: it was not obvious that these sparks kill me. I think they could be bigger or something to separate them from just decorative particles.

Nice game, wouldn't exactly call anything out of control, but that may just be me lol

The main concept was not being able to change direction once you jump (plus some theming to supplement it such as your hair being "out of control", and just reacting to the situation in the level rather than building your way out of it) - unfortunately I didn't manage to execute this in time!
