A bit rough on the edges but the concept is definitely unique! Alternative mouse controls was a nice touch so that you're not totally hopeless if the enemies destroy the extra keys. Increasing the default movement speed would help make shuffling the keys around easier.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try speeding up the character for the post jam release.

Good concept. With polish it can be great.

This a brilliant mechanics , although it needs some polish and audio work , a lot of potential , Excellent job !!!

Thank you! I knew the mechanics were going to be complex to program, and that I'd sacrifice some polish. I am disappointed that I didn't have time to implement a single sound effect or piece of music. Next year, I'll hopefully not be working alone, so my next jam game should be more polished.

I've seen other games with keys as entities but this one took it further which was good. I liked the alternative but worse controls if you get stuck. I also like the difference between yellow and green keys and the different options for your keys opening walls/healing.

I was disappointed that equipping the same key to multiple shoot commands didn't shoot in both directions at once.

Also the physics of the game was a little frustrating you accidentally dragged boxes with your feet a lot.

I also wish you had had time for some basic sound effects. But thus is a gamejam. Good job!

Thanks for your feedback! I wish I was less restrictive with the combat in retrospect. Firing in multiple directions would have felt totally bad ass!

I really like the concept of this, it can get pretty chaotic in the later levels and it's kinda cool how this turns the wave surviving concept into a puzzle of which key to replace with the persistent one and when. My keyboard has a different layout so I usually have to change it to qwerty before playing games that use keyboard keys for movements, but here I could almost do some sort of keybinding in game by playing well lol, super neat!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear that it was puzzling. Hopefully enjoyably so!

Once I got the groove of it, it definitely was enjoyable :)
