Awesome game! Some of the platforming you could cheese if you just didnt move and let the dashing do all the work. Im not sure if that was intentional to make it easier for some players or not. Either way I loved it.

Only two suggestions... A aiming reticle and optimization (watch video for reason)  I think if you put a boot launcher to the game, it would work fine

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the video, glad you enjoyed it :) Sorry it ran poorly on your machine, a settings menu where you can lower the resolution & graphics quality would have been great but was out of scope. But generally you should be able to hit 60fps in 1080p with a 7 year old mid-range card like GTX760.

I have the GT720, a significantly lower end card...

Edit: That, and I am running two monitors on this rig, which is almost good enough alone to kill it, LOL

Really fun game, Only had some issues with the platforming, the dash didnt seem clear how far you were going. Otherwise a really great job for 48 hours!

Just played the game. The overall experience is quite good.  It would be great if it supports a native resolution of 1080p and crosshair.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the video! Weird that it did not play in 1080p for you, it was set to the UE4 default, i.e. "match the current Desktop resolution". And yeah, we noticed the crosshair was missing right after the deadline haha

It did but it won't be the real 1080p clip if capturing the game with OBS in Game Capture.

Really well done. Great music, cool concept and good execution.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much, glad you liked it!

Great game, love the concept. The platformer part was a bit tricky, the rythm didn't seem to match the level design very well sometimes. But for a 48h game jam it is pretty solid work :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much 😁

Great fun and great work with audio and art. It also seems very original to me. Nice work!

Super cool game! Very fun to see another spin on an idea similiar to ours. Great job and nice music :)

Cool concept, although for some reason it booted up steamvr and played through my headset speakers by default.

Developer(+1)

Ah yeah lol for some reason that's the default behaviour of any UE4 game.

This was so much fun. A bit too hard in the beginning I'd say but the concept is really good. Great audio and art. Great job! :D

Amazing! I only think currently the movement mechanic felt uninvolved in combat since we had free movement anyways. Think Maybe if you restricted the movement, or made the game harder and gave the movement like a big dash or a shield…

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! :) Yes, maybe removing free movement completely and have the music trigger more dashes could work. We also had a block/shield action planned but sadly didn't get to implement it.
