Very cool game ! liked the theme so much ! keep going -Ivory-
The idea is awesome, our thoughts can be indeed out of control. Great take on the theme.
At first I had the same problem se someone below me, that by “avoid the thoughts” somehow I meant that I need to pop them, but then later I realized what’s the real goal. But then it’s just too easy, I can move the mouse outside the browser and then there is no yellow circle in the scene.
But anyway, I liked the idea, it’s really unique and cool.
True. The current iteration is easy to cheat in. I want to add thought bubbles that can help you progress so you would want to risk going to them. Also I should set a minimum border within which the mouse stays in the picture.
P.S.: I am using Linux so I can't play your game :(
I had a hard time at the beginning to understand what I had to do. But then, the game became fun :) (Oh, and I didn't understand until late that you could get an upgrade at the end of the day)
For a game about meditation, it's pretty nervous! But I enjoyed it :)
What an interesting gamification of meditating. I dig it
I like the theme of this, but the game is very hard to get your head around. At first I thought I was supposed to be keeping the bubbles away, and tried to pop the bubbles as much as possible!
Once I realised what I was meant to be doing it became very difficult to fail. In 12 (in-game) days of play I popped one bubble by accident.
The upgrades(?) at the end of each day are similarly mysterious. I'm not really sure what they do, or even if they're permanent. Would love some text in game to explain them better. I think the "Less Frustration" one reduces the bubbles in the next day, but I can't be sure.
I feel like I've been pretty harsh in this comment, and I'm sorry for that. I really think there's something here to work on with a bit more work and polish! Keep it up, and use your experience this weekend to make an even better game next time!
Everything you say is fair and correct. Trying to code all the functions I failed to communicate better the mechanics.
FYI: upgrades are permanent. Some have bigger impact than others (I think at least one doesn't do anything)
Being the designer I found the game easy to win so I tried making it more challenging by obfuscation. I won't repeat this approach again.
