How does your game fit the theme?
The blocks to build the wall have variable effects that you don't know until they drop on your construction. They are also being spit out quite rapidly.

Did your team create the art for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

No

Loved the concept, and the mechanics. The art style is really fitting too. Well done!

I should have brought an umbrella! Definitely fits the theme! It was hard to understand what was going on in game, I had to read the game page description. A "How to Play" page might be needed on the main menu. Great work!

This game is very cool! i love the concept, with a bit more polishing it will became an Amazing game, please continue it after the jam!

I eventually figured out how to grab blocks, but the only round I won was the first one I apparently didn't have any input into. Fits the theme at least, haha. Anyway, you definitely have a good concept here, nice job.

And, obligatory relevant xkcd: https://xkcd.com/724/

I liked the idea but there´s no way to move the blocks? I couldn't find one, may need just a little more polish, cheers.

You need to grab the blocks before they fall off the conveyor. They're non-intractable after that. We definitely could've used a tutorial or in-game explanation of some kind to help with that stuff.

I really like the idea of flipping Tetris on its head: wanting to have a high tower of blocks to achieve a goal as opposed to wanting to clear blocks.

I do wish you had included a tutorial -- even just a static image accessible from the main menu.

The game certainly felt out of control! I think you've done a good job of capturing a frantic, helpless feeling. With more time, I think you refine it into something really outstanding

Thanks for playing our game! I'm glad you liked the idea!

I think we may have fallen victim to the thought process "Oh, we know the controls and the story so we don't need a tutorial" (and also we were already cutting it close on time), but I agree. There are a few ideas that weren't explained as well as they maybe should have been, but oh well!

I'm looking forward to doing more work on this (whether it's the whole team or just me tinkering and trying to figure out how Unity works).

It's a neat idea, but I'm a little confused how to actually move these bots to build the wall thing. I think, with more intuitive controls or some sort of tutorial, this would have been a pretty cool game.

Not a bad try! Took me like four rounds to understand that I was trying to build a wall to block the particles from the lava wave. Never beat it... But almost got close once! I feel like the controls are the biggest hindrance here. It would have been great if clicking + dragging was an option. That's much more intuitive. I also would've liked it if I could have grabbed the blocks off any point in the conveyor belt. It felt like I could only grab them in a very small window when they came off and before they entered "the cage", so that felt frustrating to me. I also was not clear why some of the robots explode?

Nevertheless, a finished product! That's something to be proud of!

Thanks for checking out our game (and for sticking with it while being confused :))! Yeah the controls could use some work. I think one of our last minute balancing changes might've messed with the grabbing window, so thank you for bringing that up.

I completely forgot about adding in-game explanations for the mechanics, but essentially, some of the blocks are bad and will explode to disrupt your structure. Also if blocks fall off the conveyor belt they'll blow up too from the impact.

Thanks again for checking it out! Your game looks really fun, so I'll make sure to check it out myself when I have time :)
