Since this is going to be a big Game Jam, I figured it would be cool for everybody to share some Resources/Softwares/Applications/Ideas that might help us to make some games. Not everyone is that familiarized with game jams (myself included, even though I only made a few ones), so this is to help in the process to develop something.

These below are the ones I personally use:

[] Game Engine:

Unity

[] Image Manipulation

Gimp

[] Pixel Art

Piskel

PyxelEdit

[] Music Creation

OpenMPT

- Bonus (Some samples for chiptune-like tunes)

Feel free to share some with everybody!

Thanks for your list! I'll checkout a few to prep for the jam. These are a few I like

Music:

Bosca Ceoil is a pretty good music software for really easily throwing SOMETHING together in time, sound design is my weakest aspect by far but this program usually helps.

Engines:

I've HEARD a lot of good things about Godot, I haven't used it myself but may switch over from unity. Game maker studio 2 is amazing for 2D games, you would have to buy the full version for the jam as you can really upload without it (from my knowledge).
