Just wow at the art. Also the music is really relaxing and chill. But I guess something which would complement the beat rhythm would have been a bit more fitting.
I'm looking forward to play an updated version of this!
(I solved the first lvl by just falling down of a platform. ;)
I'm glad that you like the art! The first level is meant to introduce the player to the game. :D
Love the art! The jumping was a lot challenging than i was expecting but in a very good way!
Thank you!!! The game is quite difficult :D
I love the design and the feel of this game. Seems to be a few small things that could be polished, but the idea is neat and WOW that artwork.
Thank you! We artists really tried to create the best art :) I love how it turned out! Yep, they are already polished, but we can't upload the better version now :D
I'm not sure how this adheres to the theme of the jam.
Also, this might be a silly but Im kinda stuck on level 2, can somebody explain if im missing something.
It's only one job in only one night :) Yeah, the second level has this bug, if you are lucky enough you jump over it, or get stuck.
I'll give it a try again :)
The music was too distracting, it would be much better if it was more upbeat so it would mark when you could jump. As it is now I was forced to always look at the bar and couldn't observe the surroundings. The art though is very pretty. As for throwing shurikens I felt it was an unnecessary mechanic.
Thank you! Throwing shurikens was meant for battling the enemies, but we did not get to that part :D For the music I agree, but our sound guy ran out of time (he was working on several games), so we used what we got.
