I tried the "hold ground" option being funny,  but the pebble bit really got to me.

My ex had nearly the same name, but her pet name was "penguin", and she actually did give me a pebble which I still have. Her name for me was "sandwich" and I still use this avatar ':D

Aww, that's sweet, LordSandwich. I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and it brought some memories back. That pebble story is adorable. ^_^

Thank you!

Sorry about that. In order to get the game to behave, you'll need to input two words: one from the verb list and one from the noun list. Typing a noun on its own works too, although in an unintentional way.

Thanks. I have your game downloaded. I'll play it soon.

I feel like if you provide tutorial of sorts to gradually teach the player how to use the text commands it would be a great visual novel with more interaction than most! Great story though! Hits a little close to home so I have some nostalgia for it! Thanks for the game!

Developer

Thanks so much! I was thinking of exploring the concept more. I did play with it in a previous game of mine, but that game turned into an awkward mess.

A rare visual novel genre on the jam and it's great. But it isn't good to use typing for making actions without any hints in the game.

Thanks! I was going to provide instructions, but I ran out of time.

It's ok, but keep it in mind for the future.
