An interesting mechanic, but I think it could be better with some polish. The enemies and their bullets move very slow which can make it feel tedious at times, and the bullets being able to hit each other is cool from a defensive perspective, but can make shooting some enemies difficult.

Cool little game, it was pretty fun. I got all the way to the last, wave but for the life of me I couldn't beat it. 👍

I do have a question. I didn't understand the power-ups were they collectibles or did they actually benefit me? it wasn't really clear to me.

Good question! I didn't do a good job at explaining power-ups. There was only one line of text on the first wave about it.
The power-ups are collectibles, and there is a counter on the top of the screen for how many you have. The more power-ups you have, the stronger your "push" force-field gets (it pushes bullets away faster). When you die, you lose all your power-ups. Each level spawns at least 1 power-up.

This is a very good foundation for a game. Well done.

This is actually a really fun game mechanic! The interplay between the ~fast firing mode when you hold the button down, and the "repulsor" when you let go is really energetic. I think the only thing this game needs is some more polish: some music that isn't so repetitive, maybe some particle effects, screen shake, etc, and it could turn into a really fun title!

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on making a post-jam version so all suggestions are helpful.

Fun game the mechanics reminds me of 'The Legend of Zelda' with how attacking lowers your shield, your shield protects from projectiles but not from enemies.

This was really fun! It seems kind of simple at first until you start to understand how you can use the push. Its fun to build up a bunch of shots in one spot and then shot them out like a shotgun. And the enemy shots almost make a barrier between you and them that you have to knock out of the way before you can hit them. Great job!
