A fun game, a nice twist on the usual glue-down-the-trigger shmup gameplay, and funny mid-level cutscenes. While all the artwork individually was fine to good, I did miss a sense of cohesion. The dream-nightmare sprites have a rather different style than the ship for instance.

I would recommend eithr adding a score penalty to letting nightmares through, or adding a total high score of some kind. Right now, once you get a positive score there's no pressing need to try and shoot anything down.

tnx for the review. by the way nightmares that pass through does give you pently (-50 score).

Oh, I hadn't noticed. Never mind about that one then, and sorry.

Congratulations on the game, especially sound, the tutorial and story. The hand draw story was truly an amazing idea, especially for a game jam.

The rate of dream/nightmare could be improved, on my first play only 3 nightmares showed up, 2 of which I missed because there were dreams in the way and I shot the other, but still lost the level because I collided with one of the dozens and dozens of dreams that appeared.

Cool way to introduce the player to the game with a good menu and introductions. You should put a way to skip introductions if you want to play more than once, and also the credits are not workin (it is just a blue colour). The game is fun but when you lose the game just stops and you need to F5. The art in really nice.  The sound/particle effects are quite funny. Well done!

I liked the game but i feel like you should be able to skip the tutorial or have a seperate tutorial button

Not afiliated with this game, but it did say press esc to skip when I played it. Or was that a post-jam update?

Um. So I shot a nightmare, and then accidentally collided with a dream. The dream disappeared and my score turned from 100 to -100. When I finished the level, the game froze. Also I can move up and down beyond the screen. Great job, I liked the randomized sounds!

This was a cool game, but wayyyyyy too easy. I loved the music and sound effects, overall cool submission to the jam. :D

The game looks nice and the controls feel smooth, but I only get negative points when collecting the cake, ballons and candies. :)

It stopped at some point and I had no clue why :O

Developer(+2)

i assume you didnt read the tutorial, i know... i know my fault becuse i haven't make an interactable tutorial or somthing like it, block of text is pretty boaring to read.
- you got the negative points from the cake, ballons, candies and other *dreams symbols* , as you should. in the game you should hit only the monster like object.

Ah upss....hehe... :D

I like the game but please allow the player to skip the tutorial or make it faster.
