Nice take on the original, love the art style. Some of the platforms were confusing as it seemed I could walk on the gaps, or fall through sometimes? Other than that, great game!

Thank you :)

Walking on the Gap you jumped through is actually intended, because the original did the same. But every other Gap on the same Layer should let fall you down.

I really liked this entry. Awesome and unique art style. I got goosebumps when I lit up the first letter. Love that touch.

Really well made and an enjoyable play.

Great twist on the original. I like how much you made it your own while keeping lots of the original elements.

I dont think I could find an end state, after lighting up all the letters it just kept going. Also while you copied all the UI elements from the original (lives/energy/etc) they didnt do anything, so it would have almost been better not to have them.

The colliders were a bit rough when it came to jumping landing, but that didnt make the game harder or distract from the flow as movement still worked quite well.

I liked that the letters actually light up the sorroundings but the colour choice might have been better with something other than yellow on a white background as it made it quite hard to see the platforms.

Was there any sound/sfx? I couldnt hear any…

Thank you!

Unfortunately there is no Sound or Music.. I actually made a whole remake of the "Popcorn"-Soundtrack but didn't had enough time to implent it into the Game. But I'm gonna put it in later.

Great remake of Leaper. Wish there was a little more though.

I like the character and the way the platforms change color when you light up letters is really cool. I don't know if this was intentional, but you can light up two letters at once if you jump between them. A win screen after lighting up all the letters would have been nice.

Love the idea with the lighting of the letters!

The art style was unique. There were some issues with the platform sometimes, but I know from experience what a pain these can be. Some music could be cool to have!

The bad - Once all of the letters are lit up there is no end screen, the holes can sometimes be stood on without falling, the character would look better if coloured in, some of the platforms have a very thin width, the details on the right of the screen don't have a purpose it seems, no music or sound effects

The good - The way the platforms change shade with the lighting of each individual letter is really well done and I have no idea how you pulled that off but it looks cool, also like the character and how he moves is very natural looking, you have a working wrap screen and the title is in a fancy typography that matches well with the original version of Leaper

Sorry, should work now

Yes, it works now!
I like it, cute animation on the player and that the platforms light up as well is a nice touch.
Only issue I had is, after jumping I could sometimes walk on air.
Good take on the remake! :)
