The waves of enemies made the game challenging. Liked the players movement across screen. But I think the screen size needs some adjustment. Cool game.

Brick City: Earthquake rescuethank u for ur feedback. I feel like there are more optimization I can do to fix frame drops but I might work on that after the jam since I am not so sure if we allowed to update a game during the jam.
The difficulty of the first map is debatable as I get some saying it is easy as they would use the pistol to stun enemies to get out of sticky situations but I feel in the next update (if i do get around to it) I will increase the stun time of the pistol and also maybe give it a faster firerate just to make it a bit easier.
I'm not entirely sure of what I just played, BUT it was lots of fun.

The animation at the start was really funny and the game itself seems pretty solid, I'm just kinda bad at most shooting games so it was kind of a challenge to me.
My only complaint is the pause menu, because I think it doesn't stay on its place, but besides, it's a really fun game.

I really like the intro video and music, and the game itself, while not feeling very polished, is very fun, and has a balanced difficulty making the game fun and hard to beat without being unfair either. The theme looks like an afterthought, but it is overlookable considering the quality of the gameplay. 4/5
