A solid game structure is absolutely there, nice visual style, smooth gameplay and a very cool premise. I think it just lacks a bit of polish: the slash sfx could be a bit less jarring and needs a bit more variation, the sword should create a slash vfx to let you know its range and upgrade menu should stop time when choosing upgrades. Those are some small quirks I noticed, but overall I still really enjoyed this game, nice job!

Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
We used assets for some effects, whole code was developed during this jam

The idea that with every powerup you get some drawback as well was on our list but we didn't have time to implement it. Nice one there.
Also, a pause or a time slowdown would be nice when the cards pop up. :)
Visuals are cool as hell, everything, characters, enviroment, animations, particles. Everything is on top.
Gamedesign is pretty basic but with it's feature: paired effects which I've only seen in Shotgun king. Some of effects are really valuable and change gameplay, both positive (such as immunity to melee/ranged damage) and negative (inverting controls).
Technical condition is okay but there was one major bug on the screenshot: upgrade cards just scew on click and cannot click them anymore. One all three cards bugged, you're doomed because upgrade doesn't pause the game (which is also a big problem)
I really liked the graphics in the game, but it is worth a little more work on the lighting on the map. Also about the animations, half of my hits were without animation, just with sound. By the way, at the expense of the sound of walking, I don’t know if this is possible in unity or not, but according to the idea, you can attach sounds to animation.
The visuals and look of the game are very good but the gameplay its not pretty fun to play. Also its a little bit juicy
I just got fired.
Thank you for virtually allowing me to take it on my “team”, as much they’re taking it on me in real life.
Good setup, need more juice. Good job!
Wow I wouldn't fire this guy lol
Cool implementation, I found a few bugs when selecting cards (the menu wouldn't disapear).
I would be nicer to have more feedback when we hit ennemies (like the screenshake you put when the player gets hit).
