hey i'm not sure what's causing that but it could be a graphics driver issue.

if you're on windows, try launching the game with the -force-d3d12 flag and see if that works.

to do that open the windows terminal in the location of the game and type `Hachi_Eight Feet Tall.exe -force-d3d12` then enter

That's because you have more than one output device on your computer and the game chooses the first device instead of the default (unity bug on Linux). Use pavucontrol to change game audio output to whatever sound device you're using.

This is because you have two output devices and the game chose the first one (Unity issue on Linux). Use pavucontrol and look for FMod (the game is called like that) and change the output to the output device you're using. 

1. The signs say "West seal", "East seal" and "Fire seal" because at the end of every path there's a seal but the meaning doesn't matter that much and the writings are purely for aesthetics. And the signs are there to show that there are 3 paths that the player can look into without getting lost.

2. That's up to your interpretation but my intention was everything was real. It was not a dream.

Crap i forgot that windows doesn't allow the ":" character in file names because this was built on Linux. Try downloading the game from the web browser and extracting it from there. I will update the file name in a moment.

This is a common issue with indie games from itch io on windows. The antivirus keeps giving false positives because the game is not signed by Microsoft. What you can do is whitelist the game from your antivirus.

Hey! I'd love to have a Korean translation in the game, but all localizations are done voluntarily by players. So for now, I can't add Korean unless someone offers to help with the translation.

the mood of the game and style are amazing. i wish there was more to it tho.. also driving the van was more fun that i expected it would be lol. Game also works on Linux with Proton.

That was more intense than i anticipated lol. great game. I especially liked the sound design here. and thank you for the native Linux build. although i should mention that the post-processing effects on the Linux build are broken but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
