Nice entry. I had difficulties with the controls at the beginning but then I saw how logical the keys are set and then it was fun to mix juices. I quite like the graphics. Somehow it is not a really a finished game but playing around was fun never the less.

Nice first try for a gamejam ! Art is really cool, and even if you didn't make all that you want the base gameplay is here. For more improvements, it could be nice to have more indication on the purpose. I did not understand at the beginning. But game is good and deserve to be finished :)

nice game! quite fun. the visual representation of the comands were a bit confusing. i agree that it should have a visual indication right on screen. loved the physics. loved it. the fruits getting pealed was very satisfying. the sounds didnt match very much with the action and the game could have been improved with some nice musical soundtrack, something jazzy and cheerful maybe. overall, thanks mate! fun experience juicing some juice for the juicejam :)

The controls were somewhat weird and feel awkward, the art was nice i like and concept is really interesting, really juicy I like it

Fun game to mess around with, I agree with below that the keyboard controls felt a bit awkward to get the hang of.

The art is all really nice to look at and it makes the game feel nice to play.

Good entry!

Not the best controls for keyboard. Otherwise a nice game, great art, and literal juice on top of the juice, good job.

What I liked:

  • The physics based aspect made it feel satisfying and juicy
  • The art and sound effects look and sound good
  • There's a lot going on to keep track of, which can be very satisfying when I able to correctly manage it

What could be improved:

  • I thought the controls on keyboard were very unintuitive and I couldn't really get a good grasp on it in the amount of time I played
  • I wasn't really sure what the main gameplay loop was, so I didn't feel motivated to do it. Also I think the main issue was that something was wrong with the cup/cups where they would fly off screen?

Interesting game concept. Felt really satisfying to peel and blend some fruits. The physics helped a great deal in making it all feel nice. Maybe adding some sticky notes with the controls to some of the parts would have helped, i found myself pressing "I" quite often cause i forgot haha. Overall JUICY experience!

Not going to lie, that was on my to-do list from the very beginning and I wish I priotised it instead of the very last minute "Press I" solution I did 5 minutes before I submitted hah. Thanks for the feedback!

This isn't working for me either :/
If you get it fixed shoot me a message and I'd love to try it out

Developer

Shoot. Is it showing a zip or the .exe?

I somehow managed to get the dashboard to upload the zip even after the submissions closed. I wonder if its just showing it for me.

When I try to open it in the Itch app it shows no builds. If I go to the page in my browser it shows a zip but if I try to download it it gives me an estimate of ~2 hours (my internet is fine otherwise and other games are downloading quickly). Kind of seems more like an Itch issue than a you issue

Just tried downloading it again and it works fine this time (although it's still not showing in the itch app). I really liked the concept and where you're going with this! I think it need some more work though, to be honest (it's a game jam so no surprise there). There doesn't seem to really be any feedback on when I'm doing it right. Also, the cup physics were kind of frustrating. If you end up working on this more post-jam let me know, I'd definitely be interested to see it with a bit more time put in

Hi !
The downloadable file got an error ,kindly check out if there's a mistake .. We want to enjoy your game too

Developer

yeah I just realised I pulled over the .exe instead of the .zip!!! I will see who I can contact :(

Developer

Looks like it's fixed now!
