Nice game. Made me curious and play also Fish with a Gun I. I see how wanted to make Fish with a Gun II more juice and there are some nice effects but alltogether i is slightly to fast paced for me. Still was fun to play.
I liked the art and animations, it was hard to see what was happening 'cause it was so small. I liked the fish bits(?) and blood diffusing into the water.
Challenging game! I think it would have been nice to have more control over how you attack. It feels like I'm waiting more than playing at points.
Another fish game!! I am so happy
Really hectic bullet hell. Nice graphics, everything moved quite fast so it took me awhile to notice i could grab the pistols as i was too consumed with dodging. Loved the fishy gibs floating everywhere from my well placed shots :p
Nice take on tetras (aka fighting fish). The art style in this game is really great.
There are a lot of little details that made the game amazing...even the dial on the bubbles when loading into the water.
Was quite a bullet hell game. For me, I found the best strategy was to never move, so that my shots remained lined up with incoming bullets. The mechanics to pick up the drifting weapons and grab and use was interesting. For some reason, I don't think I could get 'R' (heal) button to work in exchange for goo I had accumulated.
This was a fast paced game that was fun to watch the 'fight'
Nicely done! Having the weapons fire automatically made it feel more challenging and unforgiving, but it is a fun game.
Fun retro-style bullet hell. Felt really challenging so it was satisfying to progress longer.
Good entry!
It is a difficult game, however, the retro art style and particle effects are visually appealing. The small game window and fast moving projectiles make it hard to play, i struggled to survive for long. The idea is intriguing, but better resolution, weapon upgrades, and slowing down the projectiles could make it more fun.
Good game. After a while, the enemies will fill the screen and it will turn into a bullet hell since the player's weapons are too weak and slow to clear the waves. Even with the health upgrades and regeneration, you will quickly get overwhelmed. Better weapon upgrades would be nice. Other than that and the small game window, it is fun to play after you get the hang of it.
Was hard to see when playing, but was fairly fun overall.
The particle effects are very good!, I especially like how the blood diffuses though the water, I think immunity frames would help smooth the difficulty a bit since sometimes you can catch a stream of 2-3 bullets and die instantly
The retro vibe/art combined with the visual bloom creates a really cool affect. I would just suggest slowing down the projectiles a bit.
I found it very difficult to survive for more than a minute or two if that. the art and animations/movement of the player fish are nice but I didn't get to experience much of this game due to the difficulty.
I like the aspect ratio, but the game resolution is too tiny to really discern what is happening (I didn't realize the number keys grabbed weapons, I had to get pretty close to the screen).
Difficulty curve hits a bit too hard right off the bat, but I do think a lot of that is due to just how tiny the game is.
Hit me up after the voting if you fix the resolution, i really want to play this with some tweaks as the idea intrigues me and the presentation graphically is very appealing! I'd love to play more of it then. :)
This seems cool but to be honest it's too hard for me. I tried a handful of times and wasn't able to get even a single upgrade. The projectiles move so quickly and the movement doesn't really feel like it gives me the precision to dodge them. Also, is there any way for me to make it fullscreen? I think part of the difficulty comes from how tiny everything is. The core gameloop and concept seems cool though. It kept me retrying for quite a while until I gave up
