Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
I created the code and tileset my self, the sfx and bgm and gnome and troll sprite was created by ai or is from sfxr.me or from opengameart, links are on the game page

Could be a bit faster and more difficult, but juicy ^^

Juicy and simple

Solid gameplay and effects. I think I wanted something more than just gnomes after a while - some more variability

Fun and juicy. Lots of nice special effects, but no exploding gnomes - missed opportunity! Character controller feels like you're on ice. Some walking animation on player and gnomes would also have been nice, but this is a lot of fun to play!

Juice! I've seen a lot of unjuicy games so this was refreshing. Had a good start with the dialog and whatnot box at the beginning but never happened again. :-( There was no score, not even a gnome count, nothing really to say I was progressing. collecting the cloves upgraded my shots, with juicy effects, that was cool, but something was lacking in the "feels like I'm progressing department"...???...

Those were some angry gnomes.  The tight/close camera view and windup time on the staff attack made for some gnomes right in my face.  Good juiced music.  I enjoyed the art style and particle effects.

Good submission.

Juicy and my kind of style, good work!

Maybe the music is a little loud, but the game is fun!
And the gnomes' faces really deserve a punishment >D

This feels fairly juicy! The particle effects and knockback give a night weight to the projectiles and the bopping soundtrack matches well with the on-screen text

I wish the game communicated more clearly what was going on, and most importantly what my progress was because while I think I know (collecting clovers fills the blue bar, which increases fire rate), I didn't feel like I was working towards anything. just more development would've added a lot of replayablility. Especially the start with the self-aware text box was really cool and I wish that got reused as the game progressed.

The movement also feels just slow and sluggish. Blasting gnomes however, the main point of this, was very satisfying!
