Cool game! I also got the Dark Souls vibes. Some of the background were a bit too detailed, I think simpler background would work better on this resolution. Also, I think this kind of games need a block or dodge, if not the combat feels a bit unfair. Nice concept anyway, I'd like to play a more polished version of it!

This game has an amazing amount of polish in the graphics and animations. The combat feels weighty and nice overall (reminds me of games like Dark Souls or Blasphemous). Sadly, the game is too short (which is understandable given the level of polish) because this is a game I would play in it's full form.
A recommendation would be making the combat more dynamic with more options like blocking or dodging, and maybe a mana system, but overall really good!
Fun game, i really like the sound effects although they are a bit too loud (compared to the music) for my liking. Gameplay is good, as said by austineast a block mechanic would have improved the combat considerably but overall still very well designed!
I really enjoyed the game's atmosphere and animations! I do think that combat could use some added depth, with some sort of defense mechanic (such as dodging or blocking). Better feedback for when you hit an enemy or when an enemy hits you would also help in that regard. Considering the game jam's time constraints though, I think you did a great job!

This game is so stylish! Gameplay is fun too, but I really love the way you put all of the visual elements together.
