The movement and animations are really nice, the music is slightly repetitive over time but it's nice anyway, same thing with surrounding (platforms and ground). Nice game!
That was fun! The character art has a nice lineless look. Good work!
Amazing game, gameplay feels really good, feedback when hitting enemies, everything. The game design implementation of the camera being a bit ahead from where the player is facing is awesome consigering we might have enemies coming, one place where I see this could been improved is on some parts in which we have to climb vertically, if feels a bit claustrophobic as we cannot see that much below or above, it would be great to have the camera zoom out a bit on those parts of the level or even offsetting it a bit on the Y axis. Overall the game is amazing, nice work!
Just played it again and you did it to look down when pressing the "Down" arrow key, you could do the same for the "up" arrow key, and leaving only the space key for the jump
Really had a great time playing this game!
This is amazing! Thank you for playing.
Wow, those animations are so smooth! And the platforming felt great! Other aspects of game might be a bit minimalistic for my taste, but just running around jumping and slashing was good fun!
Thank you. I must say I put a bit more effort into the animation and gameplay than creating more variety. Thanks for the feedback.
I think that using the character's tail as a weapon was a missed opportunity :C
Nice animations tho~
Good idea! I hadn't thought of that.
A very cool game! Amazing character movement. I would have like to have the movement to the left hand like the handheld, and a sound when triggering the switches :-)
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! It was indeed missing that sound.
Cool game! I really liked the player controller, good coyote time and camera dampening. My only issue was jumping to a lower platform, the camera moves up with the jump and I can't see where I need to be going since the camera moves up with the player.
Thanks for making this! I had fun.
Indeed, I'll implement that in my future games!
I think the game needed some more variety. I enjoyed using the attack/slashes but I felt after a couple of minutes that I had done everything the game had to offer. I continued for a while and it pretty much felt that way still. The slash gates weren't compelling. And there was only one enemy for all that I played.
Though you could expand the concept into some hack and slash sort of game. I think there's potential there if you added some extra moves. Goodluck with the GB jam

loved the art and animations, awesome ending, good level design as well
Thank you very much for playing.
The boss was the proper amount of challenge!
I'm glad you liked it!
Love the way it progressively teaches you (and expands on) the unlock mechanic with increasing complexity. It was very clear at each point what 'lesson' I was learning.
Graphics were good and controls felt surprisingly good. Attacking/Comboing felt really nice.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I learned a lot about this concept from Jenova Chen!
Enjoyed it quite a bit. Nice smooth gameplay and animation.
Thank you so much!
