I made the mistake of giving him lasers I think because the third fight he liked to stay at the very top and do the laser attack which made it impossible for me to dodge properly .

Great little game liked the story to it

This is so much fun.  I love the art style.  The attack animations are great.  The story is silly.  I really enjoyed it.  I feel some sound effects would have really elevated this.  Great work.  I enjoyed it.

I could say a lot of great things about this game, but one thing I'm gonna commend is the difficulty progression.  I've never seen a game allow you to choose what attacks your enemy will use next time.  I really think it brings together this whole experience. If I had to nitpick, I would have liked if you had a bit more options for attacking, but this is just the beginning of the game, and I guess that would go a bit against the story. I really hope we see more from this project soon!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I had a great with the mechanic of you choosing how the opponent gets stronger, I could definitely flesh it out more, there were also some more attacks you could pick for the hero, but they got cut.

Love the concept for this one, it made me laugh lots. Ran into a bug on the third level where neither me or the hero would take damage, so we were locked in eternal battle until the end of time.

I love the originality of this game, and the concept of choosing what powers to give your opponent is quite unique and interesting. I do personally believe that the main opponent is a little bit to unforgiving in regards to it's challenge level/difficulty scaling, but it's easy to see that this game takes inspiration from other hard core bullet-hell games like The Binding Of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon so I see where you're going with it. I think that I would mostly prefer it if he wasn't so darn tanky. Personally, I don't like it when a lot off a bosses difficulty feels like it comes from how utterly long it takes to kill them.

You put a lot of polish into giving the enemy good "tells" for each of their attacks, and I loved the fun narrative. Both of which really impressed me. Great job!

I agree that the hero is too tanky, it was my last minute attempt to make the later fights harder, but I should have gone with something like making his attacks faster and reducing the cooldown between them.
