This is an adorable platformer! I will agree that the music got a touch old but i liked everything else.

i love the multipliers when you pass through rings multiple times
also the movement is awesome

how do you find the key? i cleared the whole first floor and no key spawned

the pixel art was adorable!

I felt like I was very frequently getting stuck on walls. Petting animals was cute. I was also able to double dip with candy by holding w+click

Flying on the broomstick felt awesome! the vibe was really good too. I loved the music. I think the visuals could have been even better with post processing

You are totally correct about the Queen and Rook, so I modified the tables a little bit. Now you only need a two pair to move Rook and three of a kind will move Queen. Thanks for the feedback!

really good for your first jam. I found the music a little annoying though.

I don't usually like horror games, but this was a good take on the theme

I think you're supposed to be careful, but I played for about a half hour sprinting, jumping and then mashing ADAD in the air to build up momentum and speed to finish the levels as quickly as possible.
