fun typing game. Loved the little animations. I found myself getting distracted on the screen instead of typing sometimes. Nice work
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the game. The main idea was to have every emoji be animated but you know it takes a lot of time and debugging to have this working. Maybe If I go for a revision in the future I'll figure it out.
I had way too much fun with this! Score 106. Love the unique animations like the meteor and UFO. Well done!

Great job on this! Had a blast competing - but did not beat 130 haha
A few notes:
1) The music looped frequently in the time I was playing and it was noticeable when it ends and starts over.
2) The first few things that were spawned in lagged the game so it froze for a second or two with each new thing I spawned.
3) I spawned 10 firecrackers before I spawned my first car. Not sure if that is what you want, but I got snowflake, firecracker, snowflake, firecracker in that order so it was a little weird.
Overall, great job submitting a game for the jam! This was fun to play!

I'll answer your points one by one.
1) Yes indeed, the music loop is not clean, I'm not sure why the small delay, I hope it's not a big deal, until I get to fix it.
2) I'm aware of this situation. Unfortunately I wasn't able to understand why the big FPS drop, I did made some changes to the code and got a better running software but it's still an issue.
3) There are about 50 emojis in total in the game, 8 of them do some special effect when spawned. To make the game more interesting I force every third emoji to be a special. That's why you get more often firecrackers, ufos, tornados and so on and my best guess* here is that the double snowflale was a rare case.

That makes sense you wanted every so often to be a special word / effect. It just felt more repetitive, but that is probably because of the time limit of the jam. Still a really cool game- one of the better typing games in my opinion, so great job!
Thank was so much fun. Thank you! I loved the little animations and the sound effects. I was torn between typing to get a high score and watching the fun things that were going on after the sprites dropped.

Cool game! Took me a bit to figure out I had to click on the box before I could type. Maybe make the game start with the cursor already in the box? Still it was fun!

I love this game! so fun and educational honestly. I wish there were more typing games out there honestly. I learned how to type from a game when I was younger so this brings back memories. Love it! Very fun!

I found myself forgetting to type and just watching the screen whenever i finished a new word for the first time, hoping for a cool interaction. Very fun, good work!
LOL, same here. I kept wanting to watch what was happening on the screen instead of typing the next word
More interactions would be fun to implement for me too, but they take some time to develop.
