Charming game. I really like how the 3D and 2D pixel art mix together, it gives the whole thing a distinct style. My experience playing the game was like this: I headed north at first, then had to check the comments to figure out I was supposed to go east to learn how to jump. Once I made it there, I realized I needed lights for the cave. Then I went south, talked to the Mantis and the game crashed. Honestly, I felt like I spent most of my time just walking around, so by then I figured maybe the bee should’ve picked someone else to deliver the mail. XP
Really charming. The 3D/2D pixel art style works well and gives it a unique look. The pace fits the snail character and helps sell the feeling of being tiny in a big world. Overall it was a nice experience. Good job
I have been noticed that some players have encountered a game-breaking bug when starting the "Memory" game with the Mantis due to some javascript error. I'm working on it, meanwhile, let me know if it does occurr to you, and in which browser you are playing. Thanks.
Really good game. Love the aesthetics. 3Dish PixelArt. I could not hop on to the striders to move around the river. Keep up the good work :)
Thank you for playing! Did you unlock the "jump" mechanic (spoiler: its on the east-side part of the map) ?
Really cute game! It feels kinda slow at times, but that makes the world seem smaller and thus also incoperate the theme even more. I love the artstyle and overall well done :D
Thanks! I'm glad my art style is appreciated! Yes, it was quite challenging to balance the right speed — not too frustrating, but still giving the feeling of being a little snail.
This is a great game, you really feel tiny in this insect world. You need to be patient, because the world feels big, or is it to amplify the slowness of the snail ! I struggled a bit with the water stream mechanics and the hitboxes. They are very permissive but in the end that blocked me (one of the cube wouldn't put himself in the water and the gap was big enough for my snail to fall into) and I had to reset by leaving the scene and re-entering (could get something easier here).
Thanks for the feedback :) I'm glad the game conveyed a sense of scale to you! I'm aware that the physics are still quite rough and a bit rushed. Were you able to finish the game?
