You need to learn how to gain money, and after the game actually start.

I gain 500. My greed always breaks the bag.

I feel like I could have gone on indefinitely if I'd concentrated on farming bats rather than trying to push further and further to the right, but maybe not. The number of bats which spawn per room seems to be random, so it's really a matter of how many trips it takes to get enough coins for the next level of healing.

There is the basis for a strong, fun game loop. It would just need more enemy types and deeper combat, I think. For a jam game this is about perfect.

I'm really impressed by your score, I was maxing out around the 3000 mark so very well done.

The rooms loop, as a reference to the theme (it's a small world), so going right or looping back wouldn't have changed much.

The initial idea has a second enemy type and a merchant who allowed the player to increase their max health/lower the poison rate but done being better than perfect it got the axe to allow getting the game out .

I had fun with this one. The sound effects were a bit too loud, but overall it was pretty cool.
