I liked the pixel art and the rythm mechanic, but not gonna lie it feels a bit weird to have a rythm game without music, this would improve the gameplay IMO
Still a nice game !

Really cool this is the first rhythm game I've played in the game jam! I loved the pixel art and story! As some people have already suggested, having a music track that you are playing along to I think would really push this over the edge, but I understand you were likely pressed for time in the jam. I hope you continue to develop it!

I really liked the story in the game, I thought it was very fun. I would've liked if there was some music and had the clicks on beat, it would've made the game a bit easier to follow and a bit less monotonous but this was definitely a cool submission :)

It's great! At first my thought was that the timing was tricky without some sort of percussion backing but I am pretty obsessed with how the button inputs translate directly to the full instrumentation. That being said, some sort of metronome or rhythm part would probably still be an improvement. Also, playing on keyboard I kept getting the arrows corresponding to the buttons mixed up so an arrow option would be helpful! All in all though: I love this, great job.

Thank you for the feedback. I did have a kick drum that was meant to do exactly that. However the timing was slightly off and it was more off putting than a help, so removed it for now. If I can manage to get it on the beat then I will definitely add it back in.

Love it. An excellent interpretation of the theme, and nice clean, simple appearance. Well done.

Rythm game with the "Last stand" theme! Nice idea, really!

Nice rhythmic game! Really love the theme, it was tricky to get correct and to understand the right timing, and at the end was very challenging

Love the game concept, and it was pretty addictive and got challenging at the end. Great work!

Nice idea, very creative use of the theme. I cheated a little in the hard parts just by pressing all the buttons at the rhythm (shame on me). Good job!

Shhh don't tell everyone ;)

this was very intense. fighting the power with brass is definetely my cup of tea. a very cerebral challenge to translate the xbox button layout into arrow keys on the fly, but I might come back with a controller and give it another go.

"Bandstand" is a great interpretation of the theme! Very solid gameplay and gets very difficult towards the end. Great entry!

90% onwards was so difficult... really fun idea, well done!
