simple, fun, and polished well. love the art. Just it feel hard when the car is facing right, and to move in that direction must press W, maybe just not used to it. overall good job completing the game!

Fun little racing game with a unique twist! Great take on the theme.

That was a hell of a challenge! I did pretty good for the first couple stages, but when I got to that zig zag area on the 3rd stage, I performed terribly. Reminded me of mall parking lots.
Such a cool aspect for the theme! I liked the constant fear and also at the same time trying to balance the mana :) Very simplistic, but still great!
Nice game. I would say I prefer the first dimension where I don't lose automatically when I crash into things :) Because there's the time element a thought is to have more obstacles in the second dimension but have them less severe and only impact your time.
Very fun game, I really like the concept and the controls felt super good. I could only suggest a few things to improve:
- Mana should not be consumed before crossing the start line just in case you miss press the space bar.
- I would lower the volume of the explosion when the car hits an obstacle, it was a bit of a jumpscare to me, but maybe that's a good thing.
- Put the option to restart the level in the pause menu in case you want to do it better
I found myself inching along despite race being in the name. The idea of this game reminded me of what crash bandicoot 4 did - show the obstacles in both dimensions but swap the collisions, imho something like that would make this game twice as fun!
In fact, I'm barely playing racing games or other kinds of games, so I gave up on the controls. Even though there's a setting where you can set the sensitivity, I can't. And #cmiiw, if you steer it to the right and move it, shouldn't it be in the same direction? For example, if I move and turn the car to the right, then I go back, it will move in that direction and return to its original position right? But yours will move to opposite direction. This is very hard control for me.
It's good you limit the manna so players can't abuse the game. But it decreased so fast. I can't even finish the stage with some turrets with 5-8 trials. And the turret's color should be different from the grass. I can't spot the turrets easily.
Challenging game with a good premise and execution. I felt the mana bar decreased too quickly; to improve it you could make it fill up when unused. The steering was a bit too sensitive for me. However, the look of the game was consistent, and the theme was well interpreted. Well done!
That was fun, controls took a bit of getting used to as I am not used to KnM. I really liked how the obstacles were placed on the racing line, devious!
